I was cautious to bring my grandmothers brown diamonds ring for the repair in 1997. The ring was stamped with Russian 56 K/emperor profile /last century. When I received ring back the stamp was cut off. They explained that they could not fix it any other way.. No one ever contacted me prior to this and It was neglected my very personal concern about repair ...I am upset for many years and I will be upset for many more.... if I only new this could happened, I would not repair the ring.... for all of these years ...I saved my repair receipt ... with the repair cost that I forced to pay. more

There are only a couple of jewelry stores in upstate NY that carry this product. I traveled from Albany to see what they had. The Staff was VERY helpful. The ring needed to be ordered that I wanted. When it came in, We we unable to get there during normal business hours. So, they meet us with the ring. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!! more

My husband and I recently moved to the Poughkeepsie area from NYC, and needed a reputable jeweler in the area. Based on the recommendation of a friend, I took my engagement ring to Zimmer Brothers to be re-set, claned, and polished. The service was excellent and they really made me feel comfortable that they would do an excellent job. The ring came back gleaming and the prices were reasonable for the work that was done. While in the store, we also noticed a large selection of gorgeous rings, watches, and necklaces. Thank you Zimmer Brother's-we will be back soon! Zimmer Brothers is a well known jewerly shop that has been in buisness since 1893. They offer a beautiful selection of jewerly for all occasions, as well as high end decorative pieces for the home. The staff at Zimmer Brothers are very warm and friendly. They welcome you in with a smile and allow you to browse the selection without any pressure. Once you do find a peice that interest you, they are more than willing to help you and answer any questions you may have, such as the origin of the stones, gold, ect. Their prices are on the higher end of the scale, but the quality and services equal thier prices. They are also really great about their ear peircing services. They make it a point to shower the young girls with praise for being so brave, as well as reassure them the pain if any, will be quick and easy to tollerate. They make these girls feel really special and they take extra time for those who are scared too. They even have a special princess mirror to look into once more
