Best Fabric Store in the Boston area - hands down! 12/1/2005

I love textiles and whenever I can drive down to seedy Lynn, MA - I make sure it's for ONE reason - to go to Zimman's. It's an amazing multi level textile showroom with, I'd guess, over a 1,000 bolts of fabric. They have trim, wallpaper, a discount basement, and even high-end furniture on several floors upstairs. You can spend the day at this store and lose your mind completely. It's just so great. I make it a "girls day" trip and go down with a friend. What a fabulous fabric store. If you love textiles/sewing - DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE. more

good place to buy fabrics 9/1/2005

If you like to make your own draperies and curtains then a trip to Zimman's is a must. They have any fabric you could possibly imagine. And they carry all sorts of fancy trims, etc. They have interior designers that will work with you too. They do custom work and will come and install them for you. more
