Rude 3/28/2011

Rude owner. I've been here a few times and each time I am more shocked. Wrong orders, owner being brusk and rude. The last time was my last. I asked when a table would be available and he barked "you have to wait" and turned away. I said "excuse me... I know I'm not being seated now but I was wondering what the wait is" - he looked at me like I was a roach then turned away again. The food is just ok- it was better years ago but either the care or quality has slipped. Or my palate has grown up a bit. more

The store is worth the trip 7/14/2005

In a city of malls, shopping centers and the same store at every turn, Zest is a refreshing change. They carry every kind of specialty gift you can imagine - from pocketbooks to hand designed glasses to games for children. The prices reflect North Raleigh living but are very comparable to many stores in the area. This is the first place to go if you know someone who has everything and you need to get them a gift. (Note: I have not eaten at the cafe so I cannot comment on it.) more

The perfect gift store 7/2/2005

Zest is the perfect gift store. Whether your looking for a gift for your mom, or for your ten year old newphew you can probably find something unique and neat at zest. the prices tend to be a little expensive, but are comperable to otehr businesses in the area. great selection of specialty merchandise, and they have a cafe so you can get a snack while you shop. more
