Great Organic Hair Color 8/7/2011

I just moved in the area and was looking for an organic salon. Cindy did an AWESOME! job. Love my color. Organic is the way to go - it lasts and lasts - and she was covering over gray. Everyone there were so nice - it was a great experience. I highly recommend Zen Zen Salon - you can't go wrong. more

Best Salon in Aventura/Miami! 3/6/2011

Cindy French (owner) has been my stylist for over 10 years! Her quality of work (highlights/color, cut, styling) is consistent to my needs and her service is impeccable! Up to date fashion styles, in addition to organic, all natural product without the use of chemicals?who can ask for more? Although I moved to Delray Beach, FL (an hour away) about two years ago, my loyalty continues. Her experience coupled with visionary skill is a very hard find! I highly recommend visiting her salon?even if it?s for a preliminary consultation, you will immediately recognize the difference! more

WHAT A PLEASURE 3/1/2011

I have been through many salons in this area and none match up to this one. The professionalism of the owner is unmatched. She is wonderful, takes her time with you and makes sure you are comfortable in every way. The salon itself is so adorable. It is decorated in a way to make everyone comfortable - no matter what the age. I also love the infusion water - how brilliant to think out of the box. You can also get coffee or tea. more

Unprofessionalism at it's best! 2/28/2011

It's about time someone told the truth about this horrific employer! She took full advantage of my friend as well! This women is clearly not cut out to be a salon owner. Her two-faced attitude is an enormous part of the problem. He worked there for over 8 months and finally walked out after the owner accosted one of hi...s clients running after her like a Banchee out the front door. Just one of the many displays of unprofessionalism and insincerity on her part as an owner of a ""high end"" salon. The blaring rock music throughout the salon did'nt help matters either.In trying to achieve a calming and welcoming atmosphere in her salon it might help to actually interact with her employees clients instead of isolating herself in one corner of the salon. Shouting greetings to new and returning clients does'nt make for a very welcoming atmosphere! To bad.... it's a nice salon and location. Unfortunately headed for failure do to poor management! more

Hands down BEST salon in Miami 11/22/2010

I can say enough positive things about ZEN ZEN, specifically Cindy French. She helped me create a whole new image and really took the time to get to know my personality and lifestyle to better customize my new look. Even better, the prices are very reasonable, and the location very quaint and comfortable. Definitely a zen experience. more

Miami's BEST Salon 10/26/2010

I am a woman who has had nothing but traumatic salon experiences for many decades. There is nothing specifically difficult with my hair...I just haven't had a stylist or colorist that has done what I have asked....UNTIL I discovered Zen Zen and ALEX (the master). A wonderful eco and natural/organic product conscious salon. Alex listened to my trauma and created my exact vision. He makes me feel/look beautiful and builds me up in every way. He is a rare and special person...someone I feel lucky to have met regardless of his enormous talent. A kind, generous, beautiful person, in a warm, conscious, friendly environment. The entire staff has made me feel wonderful. Thanks Zen Zen! more

one word to define perfect color...ALEX 8/1/2010

I have never been to Zen Zen but I just heard my long time stylist and friend ALEX is now a member of their team. Alex has always been able to color my blonde hair and make people including other stylist ask was she born with that color? Alex has incredible insight and knows exactly what works on people even when they think they want something else.He makes me beautiful. Alex is a one of a kind professional and artist. I live in Orlando and highly recommend making the commute. Zen Zen you have one in a million in Alex. Good Luck and the best to everyone at Zen Zen more

Zen Zen Salon 7/31/2010

I was greeted by Cindy French, owner on my first visit. She did a great job on my daughter's waist -length hair and introduced Alex. We talked about what I wanted to do with my hair and looked at pictures. My hair was long and I wore a ponytail most of the time. When I returned 2 weeks later, Alex remembered exactly what I wanted. I am very pleased with Zen Zen Salon and would highly recommend Alex . He is very professional and created a very becoming style.. Pros: Peaceful environment. Owner on site. Cons: Had trouble parking 1st visit. Second time no problem more

Unique salon 7/31/2010

This salon is located right next to Greynolds Park, off of West Dixie Hwy. I happened to find it because I lived near by, so one day I decided to check it out. It was a very pleasant experience! Pros: great service, friendly stylists Cons: some services are pricey more

BEST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE :) 6/14/2010

I HATE getting my haircut- they never listen to what i want and they always make nonsense conversation when i would rather be sitting there reading my magazine. Ive been looking for a salon for years, one that listens to what i want while also putting in their 2 sense, i found it with Zen Zen. The atmosphere is inviting, comfortable, and overall enjoyable. Cindy is so talented. She knows what cuts would be best for you and really takes in your hair type and facial structure as the deciding factor. THIS IS NOT A FACTORY SALON, she takes her time leaving the end result FLAWLESS! Shs not pushy @ all and really wants to make sure her clients leave happy! She cam recommend which products work best for your hair and is just an all around warm, amazingly talented stylist. My hair has never looked better- I have recommended Zen Zen to everyone i know- great experience, great cut, will DEFINITELY be back for years to come! Thanks Cindy- see you in 6-8 weeks!!!! Finally- I've Found My Place 6/8/2010

After living in Miami for 10 years, and searching for someone who ""gets it"", I have finally found my stylist. Cindy French, the owner of Zen Zen, could possibly be one of the most talented stylists and colorists I have ever had work on my hair. I have been to Zen Zen at least 6 times and I've never been disappointed. As a matter of fact she keeps it fresh every time. My hair has been pink, blonde, high-lighted,. low-lighted, half dark/half-light - and I've loved every color. She is easy to talk to and the salon is unusual (in a good way). She plays great music, has a grafitti mural on one wall and framed rock prints placed all around, brews designer tea and serves Zen-tinis and gives everyone crystals from her ""energy bar"". Pros: Great service, amazing colorist, cool refreshment bar Cons: off the beaten path -you have to know about it to go there. more

I am an extremely satisfied client and have been for the past 10 years. Owner/Colorist, Cindy French is a pro and analyzes the best colors for you like no one else. The salon is run in a warm and professional manner. And guess what? This salon is punctual. I highly recommend this salon and any stylist, manicurist or facialist working at Zen Zen.
