Professional and Fun 6/22/2005

My experience with these guys is positive. The event that they came to was all-ages, and they did a great job of making sure that they didn't serve alcohol to minors. The demeanor of the bartender was professional at all times and provided great service. more

  • The Scene
Choose from one of the 18 beers on tap or sample the pear cider. A hot dog cart parks right by the club's front door on weekends. Stumble back the next morning and order a yummy omelet to go with your Bloody Mary. Five nights a week the best entertainment at the Zebra is Dave the bartender, who trades acerbic and often raunchy barbs with his regulars. If it's your birthday, let Dave drag you behind the bar and pour the alcohol of your choice straight down your throat till you gag, while the other customers cheer and clap. A couple of pinball games occupy a corner, but the main reason to come to the Zebra is to drink and make crude passes at coeds.

    The Crowd
On weekdays you'll find downtown regulars, while weekends get pretty rowdy. Frat boys dominate, packing the joint until there's hardly room to move.
