Zaki is an Arabic word for delicious, and the authentic Middle Eastern fare served at this wonderful cafe more than lives up to its name. Nowhere in the city (besides my dads house for Sunday lunch) have I been able to find such amazing traditional Arabic cuisine. Tabooley, falafel, shish kabobs (chicken or kafta both perfect), shawarma, lamb (some of the best I've ever had), hummus and their rice are all terrific. Service is friendly and very accommodating and the price is absolutely unbeatable, a filling lunch is around $5, and the bill for a gut busting dinner ran me and 3 others a total of $28. If you're anywhere near the IH-10/Loop 410 this will soon be your favorite spot for lunch or dinner but its a definite must try anywhere in the greater San Antonio area.
Pros: Oustanding food and service, very affordable
