Tremendous gourmet pizza. Interesting original creations (like Figs but more imaginative), delicious salads, decent selection of wine and beer. Easy street parking just north of...

So disappointing. Looks great on paper, unique offerings, nice space, great service, but very below average pizza. Un-seasoned dough, a lack of sauce on all four we tried, and too...

Za is in a strange location, but the food is great. Serving gourmet pizzas in a slightly upscale atmosphere, the restaurant offers an interesting selection of pizzas, salads, and desserts. With toppings that include goat cheese, cherries, and carmelized onions, among others, this is a great place to go for a solo meal or to get a selection to split with companions. I only wish it was open for lunch! more

I went to Za's the other day with my husband and one year old daughter (beeing afraid how kid friendly they are ...) but everything went well. They were so kid friendly and they brought her a high chair. We've split a ham, mushroom and green pepper pizza and it was awesome, nice crust and great flavor! Plus we've had good service~ We'll be back! more

cool place, good pizza 3/23/2006

I enjoyed my visit to Za - the thin crust pizza was really good, but some of the other menu options left a bit to be desired. Our service wasn't so great, we had to ask several times for more beverages - and it took forever to get a check. If you have some time to kill, it's a great place - but it might upset your schedule if you're in a hurry. I did feel that the prices for simple pizza (just cheese and pepperoni) were quite outrageous. I'm willing to pay premium for some gourmet toppings - but not the everyday varities! more

Great Pizza and even better Salads 9/19/2005

Za (short for pizZA) in Arlington is a little gem of a place. If you're not looking for it you could miss it. The pizza is of the thin crust style and the menu offers very interesting combinations such as pear and gorgonzola. They also have a make your own in case there aren't adventurous eaters in your party. But don't miss out on the salads, they are not your average leafy prequels to dinner. They are molded affairs that are full of flavor and color. You will not be dissappointed in ZA. more
