We have been to this restaurant twice now. My one compliment, is that the food is good. I ordered the relish roll, and it is delicious. With that said, both times we were the only people there when we arrived, and by the time we finished eating, both times, only one other table had come in. It still took 40 minutes both times to get our food. I just don't understand what is taking so long. The beer and the food is way overpriced. Their rolls are $15 each. Between my husband and I we got 3 rolls, 4 pieces of sushi, an order of chicken nuggets for my son, and 4 beers and our total was $99. I believe their prices are the reason that no one is ever in there. more

My husband and I purchased 2 groupons for this new restaurant in Missouri City because it was close and we LOVE sushi. I have to say the first time we went I was disappointed in the service. The gentleman serving our table was not attentive, he checked his cell phone a couple times while we were ordering and he seemed distracted. I have to agree with some of the others who have written reviews and say the sushi is fresh but I find the portions to be small but the presentation is exquisite. A couple of selections we tried were bland, we also tried one that was friend and it was a little rubbery. ***On anther note, a couple sitting in the front left a little irritated and once we sat down and the service was slow, I figured out why. I figured maybe they were just having an off day and we would use our 2nd groupon another time to try it again. Well, we went last night and again had the same server with the same issues. He was non attentive, the service was slow (he seems to be the only one who works the tables) and he again checked his cell phone while we were ordering. The sushi was much better this time but again smaller portions. We decided we will not go back unless we just want a snack are too tired to drive anywhere else. I rather go to the Little Miyako's in Pearland. Must better service, portions and selection. more

After hearing from friends how great Z Sushi was, I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed! The atmosphere was great, very cozy and intimate. The service impeccable and the food was amazing! The Ally Roll was my favorite, and the waitress recommended the perfect wine to accompany my meal. Can't wait to go back with my girlfriends! more

I visited my daughter we did some Christmas shopping.I mentioned a need for some good food.She said that she knew of a great place where she and her friends always go for sushi. Great food and a very pleasant atmosphere.Cannot wait until my daughter takes me there again!! more

i was now more than 5 times in this cozy little sushi bar, for lunch and dinners. every time i had a different sushi roll or sashimi as well as different salads. tashi, the chef, is a champion in creating always something new to surprise his customers. great taste and always fresh!! nice, cozy atmosphere to enjoy a lunch and also an evening with the family. more

I live in Sienna Plantation and this place is great and so close to home. The sushi is as fresh as can be and the atmosphere is cozy and elegant. They have a very affordable wine list and great happy hour every day. We meet at least once a week and enjoy the great food and wine more

I recently had the pleasure of finding this tiny sushi restaurant in Missouri City right at the entrance of Sienna Plantation next to CVS. When my friend and I walked in to this quaint little find we were greeted by an extremely friendlly staff. We sat down and they have photos all along the wall of people who made up their own rolls and the owner has created a VIP Menu of these rolls. What an amazing concept. The edamame was fantastic and we tried 3 different rolls. The fish was so fresh and you could tell by the color, texture and taste. They have a drive thru window which will be great for odering on the way home from work without having to get the kids out of the car. I would recommend Z Sushi! more

I went to Z sushi with a couple of my friends because it was reccomended to us by another friend. We walked in to a very small restaurant where all the employees were sitting around talking, finishing their converstations before greeting us. We were told to sit wherever and with little selection, we sat at a booth. Service was polite but very fake and slow. It took forever to get our food and you have to pay per can for your soda, so we couldn't even sip on anything while we waited. We finally got our rolls (since that's all they have.. no chicken teriyaki or beef anything, just rolls and sushi) and they had little in them and the sauces had an odd mayo taste. My shrimp tempura was undercooked and the tempura sauce was overpowering and not traditional plus the miso soup tasted like water and i had heard that it was delicious. There must be something wrong with their ventilation, because my eyes were burning most of the evening and i noticed they have a tiny kitchen, so all the smoke from the fryer must accumulte in the dining area. Overall, I give it one star and will not be back again. more

My first visit was spectacular however they seem to be under new management and service has gone down hill. It took almost 45 mins to get our 3 rolls, the sushi roller was yelling at the server and kitchen help and the restaurant seemed to have inadequate ventilation as it quickly filled with smoke and left me and my wife smelling like sushi. Over all there are way better places to dine at in the area. more

I have eaten here multiple times since they opened. The service has always been friendly and attentive. The sushi is top notch and their prices are unbelievably good. They are super convenient location. However, they remain a hidden jewel. On duty I love the take out convenience, off duty I enjoy the nice quite atmosphere. You can't go wrong. more
