Whenever you enter Yumi's it is like walking into one of those classic family owned businesses you see on TV. Personable and friendly. You are addressed as a friend and not a customer. The cakes and breads are out of this world. We order all birthday cakes from here and not once have we been dissapointed!! Yumi's Bakery is big city professional with that little touch of home!!! Pros: Everything I've experienced there Cons: If there is one I'm not aware of it more

Fabulous Beef Stew 1/5/2010

Stumbled on Yumi's today when visiting Louis Sullivan's Jewel Box Bank in Grinnell. Thought soup was approrpiate for the cold day and opted for Heidi's beef stew. IN-credible!! Excellent with veggie wrap, followed by "All-In" chocolate chip cookies. Bank was stunning, but stew was better!!! If you are on I-80, the bank and Yumi's are both a MUST!!!! Pros: Hearty and Inexpensive Cons: Can't think of one more
