We would like to highly recommend Robert D. Youngs Contractor! We are so pleased with our beautiful new master bathroom. We have wanted to renovate that room for ten years and could never come up with a solution that allowed us to get a double vanity in there without sacrificing too much of the bedroom space. Robert's design idea to solve our space problem was inspired, and it has allowed us to create this fantastic, spacious and functional new bath. The extra square footage has made the room modern, livable, and a wonderful addition to the house in both style and resale value. We couldn't be more pleased with it. Thanks to Robert Youngs and his sons for their professionalism and amazing attention to detail. We can’t tell you how much we are enjoying this home, and we can’t thank you enough for the great workmanship, the thought and consideration you put into this house. As I sit here writing this letter I am looking at the walls and windows visualizing what it was and to see it now - what a transformation! This was our first remodel and we had broad expectations in all areas. Bob was able to walk us through every aspect and made us feel totally at ease, even with what we now see were uninformed questions and requests. Adding on two bedrooms and a large bath, insulating underneath our entire home and replacing all our old windows, gives you some idea how intrusive this project was to our daily activities. We have a large family, with 8 active children between 6 weeks and 18 years of age at the time. This aspect alone would have been less than desirable for most contractors to work with or around, but Mr. Youngs made it fun for all of us, never refusing a 3 year olds questions, even at inopportune moments. My wife says she was totally at ease with Mr. Youngs working on and in our home during the project. She cannot stress enough how important it is to have someone you trust, are comfortable with, will listen to your concerns and requests and whom you do not have to be concerned about the children hearing unfavorable talk or music around. She also said Bob's safety measures for the children were wonderful. Bob’s attention to detail and the quality of his work continues to impress me even today. His safety and cleanliness during this project were simply outstanding. We could not recommend a more dependable, honest, reliable and dedicated contractor than Mr. Youngs. March 2009 Dear Bob, It has been almost two years since we began discussions with respect to our ""whole house remodel"" and about four months since you and your sons, Jordan and Timothy, pretty much completed our ""whole house"" remodel, aside from minor adjustments, etc. Our consultations with you were never regretted. We never had to look back, as you completed each phase of our remodel; we were totally satisfied with your craftsmanship, attention to detail, and insistence on perfection, and we remain equally pleased with the outcome. Throughout the process, we never had to vacate our home. Yes, there was inconvenience in moving from one area of our home to another; however, our saving in potential rental plus the advantages of ""being in residence"" more than compensated any inconvenience. Not only was it to my advantage, my ""bonus"" to admire your craft on a daily basis, it was such a pleasure, even inspirational, to interact with you, Jordan, and then later in the remodel project, Timothy, as you progressed in our remodel project day-by-day. Even now, I miss our daily contact. Bob, you and your sons are to be admired for your craftsmanship, your work ethic, and your ""people skills."" For a man of only twenty years of age, Jordan exhibits a rare maturity and craft skills, and Timothy cannot be far behind. If ever I have another remodel, you will be my first and only choice. Bob Youngs is very nice and patient. He hires great subcontractors. Everything turns out beautifully. He remodeled our bathroom, replaced all the windows in our home, had it painted inside and out, replaced our rain gutters, installed a ceiling fan, replaced our wood burning stove with a clean, energy efficient natural gas burning stove, and replaced all the doors in our house.
