Golden Jersey Inn is GREAT 7/15/2006

Do you need some home cooked food and don't want to go to Cracker Barrel or Bob Evans?? Then come here. The restaurant is decorated with a farm motif and is just delcious. I think when I went last time, I ordered fried chicken. They also offer a lot of bread to nibble on if you have impatient kids! more

Fun for the Family 7/15/2006

I was used to going to this place when I was in college for fresh, homemade donuts and ice cream. My favorite thing to get here is ice cream with their peanut butter sauce on top. Yum! They also have a lot of farm animals to see. It is a mix between a snack shop, Cracker Barrel, petting zoo and mini golf arcade. Try it out if you have never been. Very Ohio-ish! more

Young's is good for more than ice cream 4/10/2006

Sure the ice cream at Young's is top notch, but don't forget the batting cages and driving range. Get a bucket of balls and see how many you can chip into the rusty grain cart out around the 100 yard line. The batting cages have a variety of speeds to test your skill. more

this place has the best ice cream, be sure to take the kids if you have them. there is always some kind of activity going on here. in addition to ice cream which is great, they have other food items as well. ill deffinately go back. =) more

Young's offers something for everyone! 8/18/2005

This is the perfect place for kids and adults. The food (mostly sandwiches and fries) are cheap and tasty but the ice cream is freshly made and quite delectable. Young's features a miniature golf area, farm animals, and a gift shop. There are special events here seasonally. There is always a crowd at Young's but there is plenty of seating available. more

What a great place to take the kids! They have a mini golf course (putt-putt), batting cages, and a barn where you can walk through and see baby cows, pigs, goats, and other farm animals. You can feed goats from the palm of your hand, plus they have great ice cream! They have special events around holidays, like Halloween. This is definitely a fun place for people of all ages! more

Great summer activity 8/16/2005

Any place where you can sip on a milkshake and feed a goat is bound to be cool. Inside the building you can choose from a wide selection of homemade dairy treats to eat either in the store or take home. They offer their ice cream in gallons or pints for takeout. There is also a counter where you can buy more substantial food, such as hamburgers, sandwiches, and fries. They even serve breakfast. The outdoor petting zoo is a great place to visit, especially with younger children. There are gumball-type machines where you can buy feed for the goats. Unless it’s been a busy day and they’re already full, the goats will come running to the fence as soon as they hear you crank the feed machine! more
