I agree 100% w/the comments regarding Young Guns' Customer Service. Whoever the tall/heavyset guy working behind the counter is, he needs to learn how to speak with people in a respectful manner. Customers come in for service and not some guy who looks like you're wasting his time. Because there's nobody else to deal with, you have to deal with this schlub with the attitude. Mr. Young, if you read this post, get rid of that clown behind the counter; he's doing irreparable harm to your customer base... more

Rudeness awaits you!!! 7/15/2011

Take your dollars elswhere because this place doesn't deserve to exist in my opinion. Went in to buy a .17 rifle for my granddaughter. I'm the only customer. Owner says ""Can I help You?"" I say ""I'm looking for a Savage .17 HMR, model 93."" Guy says, curtly ""don't have one"". END OF STORY Now I don't know what his problem is , but you will possibly get the same treatment that all the other reviewers got. more

Grumpy owner but has good stuff 1/16/2010

If you're looking for friendly service and someone to walk you through a gun purchase, go elsewhere. If you know what you want and dont have a need for smiles and lessons this might be the place. Prices may be slightly higher for guns compared to other shops. But he tends to have a decent selection plus you will find items here you cant get elsewhere like reasonably price magazines (like $15 rather than $50 bucks). Also has a selection of gun parts and accessories you wont find other places. Decent place for the seasoned gun owner. Pros: Selection Cons: Customer Service more

Not sure why I bother to stop by or call 1/15/2010

I'm a rookie gun person, have been in this store a few times but ended up buying 1. 22 rifle at another local dealer who took the time to actually talk to me in a non-condesending way, 2. my 22 pistol at another local store due to same issue 3. ammo at another store due to Young Guns being higher priced ($8.99 vs $6.99) for same ammo and 4. fast loader and a few extra magazines.... well same deal - grumpy guy and higher prices. Sorry, but there are better choices locally and they appreciate that not all their customers are gun experts. No more visits or calls from me. Pros: If you need it - they may have it Cons: Prices too high, Poor customer interaction more
