  • The Scene
The interior of this strip-mall eatery is so bright and colorful that it hurts. Place your order at the counter and wait for your number to be called.

    The Food
If the idea of sushi frightens you, then this might be your kind of place. They do serve sushi here, but it's the most non-threatening kind imaginable. And you won't have to wait--the sushi is pre-made and waiting for you in a refrigerator case. Sushi is obviously at it's best as fresh as possible, so Yoshi's gets low marks for its emphasis on speed.

The Alaska Roll ($2.49) contains grilled, shredded salmon and lettuce. The Yoshi Roll ($2.49) is made from grilled chicken. The closest you get to raw fish is the Spicy Tuna Roll ($2.49), which includes tiny pieces of raw tuna. All the rolls are actually four slices of a sushi roll, served in a plastic to-go-style container.

Highlighting the other dishes is a somewhat-bland Yaki Soba ($3.79), a bowl of noodles, chicken, carrots and lettuce.
