Pet Lovers 9/2/2011

I wouldn't think of going anywhere else, besides Yosemite Pet Hospital for my pets health needs. You can tell they are pet lovers by the way they handle the animals, gentle and kind. Thank you. more

Extremely Polite & Friendly 8/31/2011

The staff is always extremely polite and friendly. The level of care is beyond incredible. I have recommended Yosemite to many of my friends. I always receive a full explanation of any problems, general information, and reasons for tests and medication. The doctor is very caring, and never rushes. She always makes you feel that your pet is the only one in her care. more

? our Vet :) 6/29/2011

I am not one to write a review but I have to commend Dr. Sheila Langrock & her staff for the wonderful care & affection that they have given my dog on our visits. We have been a client of Yosemite Pet Hospital for over five years now & we have only had exceptional service from everyone. You can tell that they are very concerned about you & your pets well being. My dog loves going to the office & is very much @ ease. more

The most incredible vet you will ever find! 6/27/2011

The most incredible Vet you will ever see!!!\r So, for the past few years I have been going to a Shot Clinic, to "save money". Then my dog got another skin rash, and I decided to try Dr. Langrock at Yosemite Pet Hospital. What a great experience!!!\r \r First of all, I found out that the shot clinic actually cost me more money!! I didn't know this, but many of the shots they give every year are actually good for 3 years, so by going to a shot clinic, I wasted money on unnecessary vaccines. And, by skipping the vet for 3 years, there were some problems that never got addressed, that now are more expensive to treat. Let me explain.\r \r My dog always has skin problems. The vet would just give her a shot, and some pills, it would clear up, but come back in a few month. This happened probably 4-5 times a year. Dr. Langrock talked to me about finding out what was causing these problems, instead of just treating them. She explained all the options, we decided to try a few of the tests and more

Highest Recommendation!!! 10/11/2010

I read some of the reviews and could not disagree more strongly. Dr. Langrock is the most thorough vet I have ever met. She doesn't just treat what you are complaining about, she actually looks at my dog and spends time to explain things to me in a way that I can understand. She spends more time with us and gives better Dr. care than my own Dr. does with me and my kids!\r So many vets just give a shot or some pills, and things get better for a short time. Dr. Langrock wants to get to the bottom of things. Yes, she often will recommend tests. But isn't that better than just guessing, or just treating symptoms (like many other vets seem to do)? She always has options, but I want the best for my Hobo.\r I would recommend Dr. Langrock and her staff to people who love their dogs and want the best vet care. I would give her a 10 star rating if there was one. more

Not for me and my babies.... 4/3/2010

I'm sorry to say but I share the same opinion as the other rater. I felt ripped off by this clinic...to the tune of about 1400.00 for unnecessary tests. Example...my dog had an ear with a little dirt in it and the vet insisted she may have an infection so talked me into a test that revealed nothing but a slightly dirty ear. \r I ended up finding a wonderful vet (miles away but worth it). I now have an old fashioned vet who knows how to feel, smell, and listen to a dog BEFORE deciding whether tests are necessary! He has been right every time with her. So this proves there are good ones out there, but in my opinion this one is NOT one of them! more

The Best Vet Ever!!! 1/29/2010

I read the review stating that the Dr. was rude and uncaring, and can't believe they visited the same vet hospital. Yosemite Pet Hosp is the best vet I have been to in 40 years of owning dogs and cats. I am an Aussie owner, have been for years. The staff at this hospital is great, and Dr. Langrock is probably the most detailed and professional vet I have ever seen. I read comments on other reviews that this hospital is expensive. My feelings are that the expense is only because they take the time to really look at your pet, and work up a plan to treat whatever condition your pet has. \r So many other times, I have been to a vet and they spend 5-10 minutes for a quick exam, then give my dog a shot and some pills to take home. Dr. Langrock gives a complete exam, and before any treatment, discusses with you what she thinks the problem may be, and often recommends tests to get a better picture of the problem. Does this cost more, yes, but it can tell you what the problems really are more

Yosemite Pet Hospital - Sheila Langrock DVM is the best friend to your pet. 9/1/2009

I can only say good things about Sheila Langrock who owns Yosemite Pet Hospital. She puts the animals ahead of all else. Her gentle nature and caring personality shows in her work. Scooter Lohman has gotten the best care under her supervision. I am glad my poodle has a friend in the Yosemite Pet Hospital more
