I have avoided going to restaurants in Rochester because it was usually disappointing. I was pleased, and even surprised, when dining at Yo's! The food is good, it's REALLY good. The dishes are authentic Thai dishes, served hot (temperature wise), with the most interesting sauces ranging in hotness from 1 to 5. I tried a 4, and it was just right. The food is served fresh, freshly prepared, hot, and beautiful. My dish consisted of a whole fish with a wonderful crusty deep fried coating. All the vegetables were fresh and freshly steamed, and hot when served. I had become reluctant to eat in local restaurants because of disappointing experiences. I've now been brought out of my slump. This is the place to go for real good Thai food, so clean, so hot, such lovely flavors. I hope they don't change anything they are doing. It's just right.
Pros: The best fresh ingredients; great service; and an extensive and authentic menu
Cons: The wine list is a bit limited
