Great people, great hospital 3/20/2006

Any time I have been to the York Hospital emergency room, the service has been prompt. If I ever had to wait, I knew it was because there were people with more serious issues than I had. They have a snack cart set up if you are hungry while you wait. If you are a visiting family member, they are very polite and helpful. They answer any questions you have. You can even go to the cafeteria for some yummy food for low costs. more

This is a medium sized local hospital that I like because they hire the best nurses. They are very responsive to individual needs of patients. You will not get lost in the shuffle. Each case is treated with respect and a lot of attention is paid to details. You don't feel like you never see the doctor. My only complaint is that I always get lost in there. But that is probably my fault. more

Amazing place - if you have to be sick you need be here! 12/5/2005

The dr's here are amazing and the service in the ER is better care then I have received from my primary care phyiscan at times. The staff is amazingly nice and full pf knowledge. The waiting room is very pleasant - and has juice and coffee always. The lab is quick and friendly. The hospital itself is so clean and all and all has a very pleasant environment. Even the food in the cafeteria is good - fruit salad, coffee, and an amazing breakfast. more

I can't say enough good about this hospital. Everyone is terrific, nurses, doctors, all staff. Very understanding, compassionate, go out of there way to do whatever they can for you. CLean, comfortable and terrific. Staff is very warm and friendly, understanding, exceptional. more
