Horrible Service, average food 2/11/2012

Sushi wasn't horrible, but I have had better. The serivce was horrible! They were actually rude and not helpful. I had called in years ago for a delivery order, and the guy who answered the phone, who spoke broken English, was really rude and actually hung up on me, so I had vowed to not use them. Well, years later I had a coupon and was in the mood for sushi so I decided to give them a chance. They lady wouldn't accept the coupon at first. Then she got the manager, and he (likely the same rude guy from years before) was not helpful at all. They finally took the coupon once I made a big deal about it because they were trying to add qualifications to the coupon that were not printed on it! If you like horrible service and average quality sushi, then this is the place for you. more

WORST SUSHI I HAVE EVER HAD. Brought it home and it smelled horrible and tasted worse. I called them and told them how unsatisfied I was and they said the only way I could get my money back is if I brought it back. I was so mad that I drove back to return it and they would only give me some of my money back because I ate one of each piece (that I actually spit out becuase it tasted so bad) I now feel ill and will not be eating sushi for awhile. more

I do not actually eat at the resturant anymore. I only call to get delivery. I am definitely considered a regular there and the man that works there knows my order by heart!! I actually have not seen him recently, so i hop everything is ok! The delivery drivers are always friendly!! It does take a while for them to get there, but honestly its totally worth it! The lady that works there comes off as rude, but she does not speak very good English and is actually pretty nice when you get to know her! I recommend this place to everyone, and everyone that goes always seems satisfied!! I am pregnant and will miss them until after my baby is born, but I will go back :) more

Great Sushi, not-so-great service 4/18/2009

Like many others have said, the sushi is great, the service not-so-great. Went there with a Restaurant. dotcom certificate to save $25.00 off of a $40.00 bill. The sushi specials don't have prices so it's a guess as to what you are going to pay. When the bill arrived, it was written on my certificate/coupon, and did not have itemized pricing. When you use this certificate, they are the only one's I've run into that have ""cash only"", caught me by surprise, I just happened to have enough cash on hand. I will keep going there as long as I can keep getting the certificates/coupons, otherwise, I will find another sushi restaurant so I can also have a pleasant experience with the staff. No class, horrible service. 6/24/2008

When you first come in you are not greated with a smile or hello or anything pleasent. When you order something under $10 the unpleasant woman (?) responds with, ""That All!"". She then talks to her co-workers in Japanese and brings you your food. When you go to pay with a credit card, the woman says, ""No card, just cash"". Then you say ""I've paid with credit before here"" and she says ""only $10 dollar or more"". If the place had good food, I would put up with this. But the sauces taste like watered down ketchup and the place is too dirty. I will NEVER go to this place again. Pros: You can leave and get a hot dog at the 7-11 right next door. Cons: You will feel like an idiot for paying for horrible food and service. more

Great sushi close to home 4/24/2008

I've been ordering sushi here for many years and its always been very good! Unlike the other review I think their customer service is great. They dont speak very good english which I can understand could be conceived as rudeness if you are ignorant. Last time I went with a girlfriend they were very friendly and even gave us a bamboo japanese new year calender to take home. Its a nice quiet place with great food. Good Sushi but poor customer service! The staff is often rude and unattentive. The last time my husband and I dined at Yomato, the waitress came up to us and said, ""You know what you want""? When we asked for a couple of minutes to decide she abruptly walked away. We filled out our sushi order slip and she walked by 5 minutes later and snatched it off our table. We frequented this restaurant a lot (since its the closest sushi place near our house) so we consider ourselves regulars. We are used to the unfriendly service but lately its just been getting worst and yesterday was the final straw with the very rude service. We've decided to ban this place. Pros: Good Sushi at good prices Cons: Poor Poor Poor Customer Service. Unfriendly wait staff. more
