Gisela Konrad's approach is a Viniyoga flow style (and quite different from an Iyengar approach). However, the essence of yoga taught is very, very good and totally suited for people of all ages, fitness levels, body types and life situations. The actual physical practice may be gentle and quiet or vigorous and strong, depending on each person's needs and possibilities. I really appreciated how breathing is totally incorporated into all phases of a sequence of poses. The breathing is very much a part of the process, not a reminder to the pose. Gisela also offers workshops in how to develop your own yoga home practice. Her approach totally makes sense. This is the only yoga practice that even my husband can practice and enjoy.
