I love yogaworks on Main and Montana. You've got to try Birgitte Kristen's classes. She's amazing! You'll feel stronger physically and mentally when you leave. She has such a calming presence that even though you've just worked out so hard for an hour and a half you'll also feel chilled out and calm. more

With locations throughout LA the studio on Main Street is a sanctuary. Classes are not overcrowded and staff is helpful and friendly. They often have customer appreciate treats like special comp yoga nights open to friends of members and healthy snacks. more

Come to L.A. Mary Kay! 3/15/2005

Yoga Works is without a doubt a yoga factory. Classes are hot, tightly packed and somewhat impersonal. The teachers (with a very few exceptions) are good -- even great in some cases -- and the yoga they practice has patience and good form. Sadly, Yoga Works does not offer many Ashtanga-style classes and also does not have a teacher who stands out in this particular style. So Yoga Works, get your act together and hire Mary Kay West, Ashtanga teacher extraordinaire. Other than that? Namaste. Pros: hard, core , yoga Cons: sweat , shop, style more
