This Thai restaurant is cozy, super-friendly and inviting. The food is extremly fresh, flavorful and delicious. I have never ordered anything there that I was not immediately in love with. My family and I have been their regular customers for over there four years now. Their food is always great with fresh fresh ingredients. Food is fast and the place is very clean. Service is super-friendly. They are very good to children and my children love them. My husband and I travel to Thailand more than three times a year for business and he was the one who found this hidden gem. We know what the real Thai foods like.Their food is exactly the food that you would find in Thailand. Their spicy basil chicken is very tastly. The Salmon is big. Satay chicken is very delicious. If you love spicy food, this is the place we would like to invite you to try. more

I do NOT recommend this restaurant. I ordered a Basil fried rice, and there was no basil. I was surprised and asked the owner (her picture was on the wall) about it, she pointed to the green onions and told me that they were basils. Green onions and basils don't look anything alike or taste alike! I did not like it that she treated me like I didn't know the difference. more

Love love love... we love this place. We love their appetizers. Their entrees starts from $6.25 to $10.95. We almost try them all and we love everything. Yim siam is a small restaurant with very quick service and big smile. They treat us like the old friends. So we feel like going there. First, I love thier foods. They have the real "authentic" Thai foods. Believe me! I used to work in Thailand for 2 years and Yim Siam is the only place in chicagoland that have the best and real Pad Thai. Secondly, they have ton of drink lists that you will enjoy. They have the BEST Thai food in skokie area. The restaurant is very cozy and have the big patio in the back. We used to have our private party in the back patio and it was wonderful. The service is so great and friendly. I love their Satay Chicken on Skewer, Pad Thai, and homemade Thai Custard. I highly recommend this place to you all!!
