The place has now changed ownership, and things are definitely different. The service is not as friendly as it used to be. The food seems a bit different, the burgers are drier ...

Superior Burgers & More... 7/16/2003

This is the place to go to when you want a good meal. The burgers are handformed, 6 oz certified angus beef patties cooked to order with no grease. The onion rings are handmade they are huge and fantastic. The malts are made the old fashioned way with real vanilla ice cream & milk shaken for a long time until just right. They also have other items on the menu to please all tastes. Everything is made fresh and cooked like homemade, nothing is ready made and frozen. The owner is working on updating the website, and the best part is that she will have your order delivered if you're a customer with a large order. Pros: homemade food, great tasting & fresh more

DEEEEELICIOUS 7/16/2003

I love the place, I'm a regular now. I've been 4 times this week and everytime something new to try. They now have whole fish on the menu, you can have that grilled or fried with shrimp on the side. OH MY GOSH!!! it was finger licking good. They do not have cole slaw anymore, but they have a great, huge side salad which is even better. The owner also suggested trying Humus on the side with the fried fish and it was absolutely fantastic, she makes the best humus in town. The staff is very friendly and the whole experience is great. My whole family loves the Roadster Grill and we'll be there all the time now. Pros: friendly staff, great selection, clean dining Cons: needs music, needs wine selection, great seafood more

A Treat Indeed! 7/3/2003

Wow what a treat this little place was! we were just driving by in Bellaire and we saw this place crowded and it looked so quaint and fun, we stopped there to eat and what a treat! the owner recommended the Texan Roadster with chili and queso (which was fantastic) and we also had the special for the day which was the Beef Shawarma, it was the best tahini sauce I ever had. Humus was served on the side and it was delicious, very tasty with just the right amount of garlic and lemon. I was surprised to have found such a diversified menu. The ranch dressing is homemade and it is the best thing with fries. The fries are great by the way! Good food, good service with a smile, the bathrooms were very clean. looking for the best burger? 6/30/2003

Well here is the place, Marvin Zindler's favorite burger place. Look no more, this is definitely the best burger restaurant in Bellaire, and for a small restaurant they have an impressive menu. they have everything you could want. The salads are great and plentyful. the hoagie sandwiches are fantastic and the onion straws are out of this world. there is a new item on the menu which is the whole fish fried or grilled, I had mine with shrimp on it and it was a fabulous deal for only $12.00 with fries and onion rings. LOVE IT, LOVE IT 6/28/2003

I LOVE the Roadster Grill. I'm there every week, my family loves every item on the menu. My kids love the burgers and the owner, they think she is the mama of all. The Big Buns Roadster is my new favorite; it's a double meat with cheese and bacon burger and it's to die for. My wife lives to eat the Mushroom Swiss burger and my kids love the grilled cheese and the hamburdogger. We love the Roadster Grill because not only the food is great, the people are friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed, clean & kid friendly. Home of the Kabobs 6/27/2003

Best Darn Kabobs in town. The shrimp kabobs are a mouthful served on a beautiful Harlequin plate wrapped with torilla and served with fries, onion rings or humus. The best Humus I ever had is at the Roadster Grill, the owner is Greek/Lebanese and she can make Humus. Also they have juicy, humongus 120z steaks that beat Salt Grass any day! This is a fabulous place to eat!! Everyone is sooo nice and the food is unbeatable, it's worth the short wait!! They offer a wide variety of food, everything from Greek salads(my favorite!) to Shawarmas and of course great hamburgers!!!! I think the best time to come is dinner because it's less crowded. Now they offer breakfast too!! It seems like just a few people come for breakfast because no one knows about it. Go before the world finds out!!! YUM!!! Mouthwatering & Juicy burgers 6/26/2003

I crave their burgers, I crave them realy bad. My mouth waters when I think about them. The quality of the meat is superior, the place is very clean. My favorite thing is the onion straws and the lemonade. The owner makes the lemonade herself and she tastes it everytime to make sure it's perfect. She also makes the Humus and the tahini sauce that goes with the Shawarma and it is the best. My wife loves the shrimp Kabobs they're so delicious and the plate is huge. Out of this world Burgers! 6/19/2003

thank you Roadster Grill for being the best there is. What a fantastic burger, all angus beef hand-formed patties, hand made onion rings and out of this world shakes. The salads are huge; my favorite being the Greek salad. Also there is a shawarma dish with the best Humus ever, beats all the other mediterranean places. The Hoagie is highly rated and the fajitas are delicious. The most popular burger is the ""Big Buns Roadster"" it's a double meat, dbl.cheese with bacon burger and it's just awesome. The Roadster Grill rates A+++ in my book. I'm there all the time, the lady owner is like everyone's mom. Great Burgers!!! In Bellaire there really is no good breakfast place to hang out in a nice atmosphere. Finally there is one now. The Roadster Grill has breakfast roadster that are simply delicious, and also they have taquitos. good coffee, and a nice place to relax before the rush of the day. thank you roadster grill. great value for the money 5/27/2003

Tried the Roadster grill on the recommendation of my friend and I was quite impressed. Much better value for the money than Beck's or Fuddruckers. the burger is bigger, stuffed with more things. The onion rings are hand cut and hand breaded which makes them fantastic. My partner had the buffalo burger and that was very good as well, the basket of fries was huge enough for 2 people for only 1.50 Great value, great food. My new burger place. They were on Marvin Zindler last week and they have the blue ribbon award. Pros: good food, fresh & homemade, not expensive Cons: bathroom outside, little parking, need a theme more

I saw the Roadster Grill featured on the Marvin Zindler show and he said that it was one of his favorite burger places, so I tried it. Yes, IT IS ALL THAT! the classic roadster is all that is cracked up to be. it's a whole 6oz burger with all the fixings. the onion rings are far out and the beer is cheap. My daughter had an oreo sundae and the owner fixed her some awesome looking dessert plate which looked like some fancy expensive restaurant dessert for only $3.00. What a burger! The best I ever had. I was comparing them to Beck's, but the Roadster Grill is far superior. The onion rings are fantastic. I recommend the cajun roadster, it has creole mustard and onion straws in the burger. it's a feast for the mouth. Just like the old nostalgic american burger. The burger is so tasty I don't mind liking my fingers. The best one in my opinion is called the Route 66 it has grilled onions seared in the meat, it's out of this world! Also the hand-breaded onion rings are fantastic. they have appetizers that go great with beer, and they sell Shiner Bock for only $2.00. Happy hour is only 1.00 draft beer. they need to work on their theme a bit, but who cares about the theme anyway! the burgers are the best by far! Grand Buns 5/19/2003

The buns are great! their specialty is the Roadster burger, but I go there for the steak. T-bone steak, 12oz for 10.99 with fries&handbreaded onion rings and side salad. You can't beat that! Best malts in town the old fashioned way. The owner is always there, and she'll do whatever it takes to make you happy. The service is great, the owner will bring the food to you, and you're treated like a special guest. This is an elite burger place, nothing is premade and frozen. everything is homemade and fresh. What Bellaire Needs 3/9/2003

This is the kind of place that Bellaire needs. A great hang out place with the best burgers, great fresh homemade Tex-Mex food, very tasty Mediterranean cuisine.... They have a great ambiance, cheap beer, and nice patio seating. The owner is always there and she'll fix whatever you want. I love the place, I'm always there. I hold meetings and parties there. You've never had a burger 'til you've had the Roadster Grill Burger - and what a Burger that is... The restaurant is lovely, all user friendly. the owner is very nice, she'll accommodate whatever you're needs are. parties, dinners, kid events, catering, music and all... cutest little place I ever been. loved every bit of it. on the menu is a dish called the Ernie's Club. What a dish that is!!! Fantastic and totally finger licking good. The onion rings are out of this world. The milk shakes are like the old fashioned kind made from pure vanilla ice cream, it took so long to make mine, I watched them make it from scratch it was worth the wait. they have also draft beer for a $1.00 and you can't beat that!
