Great vet 12/19/2010

Have yet to have a bad experience. I work for a dog rescue and they worked out a deal for our visits for our dogs in service to receive a twenty percent discount.\r \r I take my dog there and trust them very much. Friendly vets, friendly staff and best of all; they are patient with my pet (a rescue dog that has a great deal of fear).\r \r Once they performed an additional procedure without asking me (I did ask them to check it out for me but to check with me first) but told me as soon as they were done that it was free of charge.\r \r Overall, very reasonable and trustworthy. more

Amazing Doctors and Staff 6/16/2010

The staff at YSVC cares genuinely about their patients and clients. I've been taking my pets there for over 7 years and have never been let down! My dog was diagnosed with a disorder that was expensive but they were willing to help us out. Because of their compassionate care I was able to spend an extra 3 years with my best friend! more

Yellow Springs Verterinary Clinic 6/3/2008

I love the staff and doctors at Yellow Springs. I always feel welcome and I know that everyone knows and cares about my pets. Dr. Barbour and Dr. Ruppert have both cared for my dogs and cat, and I know that my animals get the best medical care possible. I appreciate that they have state-of-the-art equipement, and that the doctors stay abreast of new procedures. This is especially comforting to me as my dogs get older. I also love that I can get my dogs' food at the clinic. They work with an all breed dog and cat rescue called Tails of Hope, too, which is great for the community. It's also nice that the docs are handsome ; ) more

Caring and compassionate 7/28/2005

After visiting 4 different vets, these wonderful people were recommended to me. I have seen Dr. Barbour for nearly 6 years and can tell you he is highly competent, extremely compassionate, and treats my cats as if they were his own. Not only that, but he has always treated me with respect and has been a great educator. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, while the clinic itself is extremely clean and has excellent state-of-the-arts investigative and technological tools. I know I can trust Dr. Barbour to use the current techniques and keep me informed of my pets options and possible outcome. My only hesitation in recommending them is that more people will find this valuable resource and thus make him less accessible. PROS: Excellent pet care CONS: A little off the beaten path - but worth it more

Very caring staff! 5/31/2005

I love this place! I brought my two dogs in for their annual shots and on the way home one of them had a reaction. The care that they provide was more than I could have hoped for. You would have thought my Rex was their dog. He made a full recovery and they did not charge me!! PROS: Caring staff, reasonable prices, doesn't try to push for extras CONS: A little out of the way, but close to us more

great medical care for my pets 5/24/2005

Yellow Spring Vet Clinic has been taking care of our pets for 3 years. The staff there is very friendly and courteous. There is not a long wait for appointments. The place is always very clean. They have taken excellent care of all of our pets. I highly recommend them. more
