Highly recommend. Excellent menu with ever-changing specials. We eat here every time we are in town. (we even met the video crew from Nat Geo who were eating there during a filming session.) more

Fantastic Restaurant in Oil City, PA! 10/20/2010

Are you looking for someplace different to go? Take a drive to Oil City. First, go to Titusville and visit Drake's Well, take in a little history. Hear the story about the Yellow dog lanterns that were used ""back in the day"" on the railroads. Then, drive to Oil City to the Yellow Dog Lantern Restaurant for dinner. It has the warmth, glow and charm of the ""lantern""! And the food .... Wow! IT is SUPERB! Chef Matt is awesome ! Portions are perfect and the prices are very reasonable for a nice dinner out. The service and atmopshere are pleasant. It is a wonderful dining experience! Dinners begin at 5, so plan a beautiful getaway day and enjoy! more

Wonderful atmosphere, food, ambience... I would recommend this restaurant, lounge to everyone. It is a very special treat to eat at this restaurant.. Pros: Wonderful food and service, atmospher Cons: A bit high in price more
