The food was OK, it did not taste like authentic Mexican food. It was too fancy and Americanized. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Looking for a mexican place that was a step above casual. YC looked good based on reviews so we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival the lot was not full, but there were a few cars there. When we approached the place was lit up, but it didn't look like anyone was there. This was at 7pm on a Thursday. The place was locked up! I called the number, it was disconnected. No mention of the establishment closing on their website. I would have liked to try it. Too bad I didn't know they were closed (maybe permanently) until I got there. more

The Fajitas are one of my favorites along with the Short Rib Enchiladasalong with there Margaritas. They have an excellent happy hour and live music on Thursday nights. The service is very good as well. I highly recommend. Pros: Great Food and Margaritas Cons: A little pricey on some items but not out of line compared to other establishments more

This place is very cool, it's huge! Two different outdoor patio's, two huge dining room's, and a full bar. The food is awesome, the kids that work there are great. The dumb@ss, Lionspaw, who wrote above has probably never been a waiter and does not understand that ANYWHERE you go, if you 6-8 or more people, it is at the waiter's discretion to add gratuity. Sorry Lionspaw, your waiter probably just knew you were gonna tip sh*!ty. The food is all prepared from it's rawest, freshest point. The tortilla's and butter are amazing. Recommendations: Any Fajitas, Arrechera Steak Asada, Any of there 3 Chili Relleno's, Green Corn Tamales This restaurant works harder at preparing fresh food than any restaurant I've seen. All is cooked in the most healthy, traditional way. Go there! DO WORK! Pros: Great food, good times, live music, great margaritas Cons: Friday/ Saturday nights can get busy more

I love this place. I go here at least 2 times a month for lunch and always have great food, great service and good prices. They have excellent salads with yummy homemade dressing. Their homemade tortillas are served warm and delicious with an herb butter. They have a fresh brewed tropical tea that I can't find anywhere else and I love their patio on a sunny day. The place has a very cool look to it and the wait staff is always friendly. more

Went twice. Slow service both times, with added attraction of being cold the second time. Food is adquate but mediocre. Place is nice. Watch out for waitperson talking you into regular marguerita ( which comes to 13.95). Also, large groups apparently incur a built-in tip of 18% to make sure you pay for the extra slow service. Pros: parking, ambience Cons: mediocre food, cold, expensive drinks, built-in tip more

I've been to the Yellow Coyote Tortilla Factory several times, and I've had pleasant experiences each time. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. I prefer to go there during dinner time, instead of brunch, but regardless of when you go, you're going to get a delicious meal (and home made tortillas)! My favorite dishes are the chicken enchiladas, the fajitas, and the carne asada plate. The waiters are very attentive, and you never feel rushed. The decor is very nice, you can tell that they put a lot of thought into creating a nice dining atmosphere. It's also very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Some of the best chips I have every had was here. The were still warm, prefectly crisp and not salty. The salsa to go with it was delicious. I ordered the Tostadas Sampler (just because I'm not a big eater) and I really enjoyed the entire dish. Service was very good and the decor is warm and inviting. I would definitely come again. Pros: The chips! Cons: A bit pricey, I guess it depends on what you order more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! My family and I ate here and were extremely disappointed. The food was tasty but the rude employees ruined the night for us. Drinks took at least 12 minutes to arrive. We never got the promised tortillas and flavored butter appetizer, then when dinner arrived we had no silverware or tortillas for out fajitas. For a "tortilla factory" we should have been given some tortillas. The kicker of the night was when we asked to speak to the manager so we could get some forks and tortillas and the waitress said she takes it personally if we were to complain. It was just an awful experience. more
