Best

THE COOLEST PLACE TO GO TO!!! but the best part of it all!!! the MALL IN THE OLD YANKEE STADIUM!!! GO TO TARGET!!! ITS SOO THE BEST!! i take my kids all the time!!

Worst

I think the Yankees do need a new stadium, but not in Manhattan. There is no resaon why they can't play at Shea while the old stadium is torn down and a new one built on the pres...

yankees boo 2/3/2003

Not the best stadium for century 21st. Sense of baseball but lacks realism of today's world more

P.M.G.! 12/30/2002

It is the New York Yankees, I think everyone as heard about this place. I just wanted to add it to my list. When you walk into Yankee Stadium for the first time, it is like walking into a movie set. Pros: Posada, Mussina, Giambi more

Best Stadium Ever 12/20/2002

I have noticed many reviewers mentioning how other teams have more attractions at their stadium, I could only imagine that this is to fill the void created by the second class team playing on the field. Also the stadium in not in that bad of a neighborhood and parking is very simple. The intensity of the fans adds to the whole experience and who ever said that Shea stadium is better than Yankee stadium should be shot. On a side note Boston is a nice city (I have never been to Fenway so I can't comment on that) but it will never be the city that New York is. Stop so jealous. more

Baseball capitol of the World! 12/6/2002

If you're a fan of baseball, you MUST come to The Stadium! It's the modern equivilent of the Roman Colliseum. So many of baseball's greatest moments happened here, and greatest players played here. ALL OTHER STADIUMS ARE MINOR LEAGUE! more

Yankee Fan 12/1/2002

Come to a game and experiance the fans love of the game. Experience a landmark. I haven't taken the tour but it must be fun, seeing the clubhouse, etc. Don't miss Memorial park (open before games). Easy to get to by subway. Note: trains are sometimes crowded going to the game and are definately after the game. I usually wait for the first crush to leave before going to the subway. They do run more trains when the game ends so the wait is usually very short. Food expensive & so, so (bring your own). Pros: Games at there finest Cons: Crowds, Not sure of parking, Long lines more

memories last a lifetime 10/30/2002

From the old to the new, the New York Yankees have always been a great time to create memories with friends and loved ones. You cant go wrong when chatting a game with your hands full with beer and food and your eyes peeled on the field waiting for history to happen. more

Yankee Stadium 10/4/2002

I went to a game in the bleachers, when it was raining...it was lots of fun anyway, and I'm not even really a baseball fan. You should go once. The concessions are insanely expensive though. more

Go Yankees 9/5/2002

I really enjoy going there -- easy to reach by subway. Website with information always up to date. Keep meaning to take a tour. Don't miss Monument Park Pros: Enthuastic Fans Cons: Ticket Prices High more

Bases Loaded 7/26/2002

As soon as you step on the cement at Yankee Stadium there are no words to describe how you feel. To walk in the corriders that many legends did is unspeakable. The house the Ruth built is exactly that. Go see memorial park it will literally leave you speachless. more

It Rocks 7/26/2002

I think that the Yankees, their stadium, and all that have to do with the best team in the world ROCKS more

10 7/22/2002

great ballpark, easy access to the ballpark, we had great view more

Yanks 4 Ever! 7/22/2002

One of the most beautiful places on earth, Yankee Stadium is both a tribute to Baseball and NYC. When you take someone there for the first time, you go to section 1 at field level and let this cathedral open up in front of you. There is nothing quite like the thrill of your first time there. Yes, it's expensive; yes, it's explosive. But, there is no place quite like it anywhere else - it has history, it has presence, and it has the greatest, most knowledgeable and obnoxious fans around!!!!!!!! Pros: History, Sightlines, Fans Cons: expensive, parking more

Magic in the Air 7/22/2002

Buying a ticket for a game in the House that Ruth built is like buying a ticket to witness history. On any given day or night in Yankee stadium, something amazing, unbelievable, and historical is not an unlikely occurence. With every amazing Yankee moment in the history of the franchise and the stadium, there is an indescribable hint of magic that surrounds fans as they take in the lush green grass and the Yankee pinstripes that capture the legacy and history of the New York Yankees. The greatest place in the world--Yankee Stadium. Pros: No bad seats, Greatest fan support, Excitement in the air more

Nothing comes close 7/22/2002

I grew up going to Yankee Stadium and have since moved to Baltimore. Yes, Camden Yards is a great NEW park. For the past several years I considered myself lucky to have such a nice stadium so close to home. Then I returned back to Yankee Stadium for Game 5 of the World Series. Immediately the goose bumps rose up. Watching the game from the bleachers in right field, Paul O'Neil's last game, then looking at the flag from the WTC proudly flying out in center field. Then the Brosius HR and finally winning in the 12th with Soriano driving in Knoblauch. I can't wait to go up with the family for the Yanks vs. Sox on Labor Day. It will be their first time at the Stadium. Then they'll understand. more

Very Good 7/15/2002

Its the easiest park to get to from my house...but it lacks some of the ambiance of the newer parks. more

Greatest Sports Venue 6/14/2002

Walking into Yankee Stadium is like walking into History! What Stadium in the World hosted and was home to more Champions? Just think of all the Past Great Players, the monuments, just think of the history this ""THE GREATEST OF ALL SPORTS VENUES"" was a part of, and CONTINUES to be part of!! I tip my hat to Yankee Stadium! There's no place I'd rather be! Pros: HISTORY, HISTORY, BABE RUTH AND CO. Cons: PARKING, BABE AND CO. are dead more

The House that Ruth Built 6/6/2002

this is Yankee Stadium. The House that Ruth Built. 26 World Series Titles. enough said. more

A New York Classic 5/20/2002

I am not a big baseball fan, but you don't have to know anything about the game to know that this is a temple. Just walk in and feel the atmosphere. The design is a classic oval, you feel like you're in a Roman ampitheater or something. I've usually had the worst seats when I've come here, but it doesn't matter--you get a great view wherever you are. Plus the fans, for the most part, are surprisingly friendly. And hey, the home team's not bad either. more
