As a sushi snob from LA, I was THRILLED to find such a fantastic place in North County! La Costa residents are extremely fortunate to have this classy, unassuming gem offering them fresh from the tank selections daily. I have eaten at the best, and Richard is my go-to sushi chef hands down. If you want really fresh sushi and great service, sit at his bar and wait for heaven to land on your plate. You MUST have the sweet shrimp and eat the flash-fried head in it's entirety. Never had that urge before, then begged for seconds. And my salmon ""birthday cake"" was over the top delicious, candle and all.
