We always go to Yamato's when in Myrtle Beach. Service is excellent, the chiefs are wonderful and the food is great! I would recommend getting there by 4:30 or 5 for dinner...th...

Great food great fun 5/13/2009

My husband and I frequent steak houses when we can, and this is one at the top. The service is wonderful, friendly and fun. The food is excellent, and definitely top of the line. Worth the money for sure! more

execellent sushi and other things 9/23/2008

Yamato steak house is a bit pricey, but the food is excellent and there is a great variety of sushi, you can also create your own. the chefs are very friendly and want to please the individual customer. \r everyone makes you feel very much at home and you can experience your own varieties more

A yearly anniversary tradition 2/16/2008

We are usually at Myrtle Beach during the week of our wedding anniversary. We used to go out to seafood places, but then I started becoming allergic to seafood. So...we tried Yamoto a few years ago. We loved it! The chefs are so entertaining and the food is incredible. Their rice is to die for. We look forward to this every year. Just some advice: MAKE RESERVATIONS! Otherwise, you probably won't get in. more

Fabulous Resraurant 7/1/2005

I can honestly say, this is my favorite restaurant by far. The prices are a bit high, but I feel they are well worth it. The staff and chefs are really nice. The chefs cook in front of you and you are seated around the grill with others so you get to talk and have fun while the chef cooks your food and at the same time entertains you. It is fun to see what the chefs will come up with next while cooking your food. They make it fun and enjoyable to sit down and watch your food being prepared. Very highly recommended. more
