We've had a hard time finding a great Japanese Steakhouse since moving from a larger city. After 2 years, we finally discovered Yamato's and were so pleased to find a Japanese place we can call home! Awesome food! more

Right outside gate 3, their prices are cheaper than other places, and they are AWESOME! I've met my hubby here on his lunch break a couple of times the place is always packed so if you want to go during peak hours see if they take reservations. more

i love going there, their luch special is reasonable price and so good. i just love it there. and they get the food out to you as soon as possible. Pros: food is good, and the portions are big Cons: they do have a rude waitress there more

The sushi is AMAZING, the waitresses are sooo nice, and you get a lot for your money--especially when compared to another Japanese restaurant in Clarksville. Pros: delicious, friendly, fun more

I have been to all the restaurants in Clarksville that serve sushi, and Yamato's is the best. It is always super fresh and you get a lot for your money. If you like spicy...try the Spicy Spider Roll...it is to DIE for!! Pros: Affordable, quick, great service Cons: Small parking area more

Best Dinner in Clarksville 10/27/2006

Yamato's is one of my favorite restaurants ever. The fried rice is out of this world, and you can get shrimp, chicken, or steak. The shrimp does not get better than at yamatos! There is a fun show with dinner, so it's a dinning experience. The service is great and the food is amazing. Army paydays (15 and last day of the month) can be pretty crowded, so plan for a wait if you go that day. Yamatos is the BEST!!!!!!!! Pros: food, service, show Cons: none! more

This is by far the best japanese food in Clarksville. I received excellent service and great food. Their portions are adequate and the prices are reasonable. It is also a great place to eat lunch. They have specials on the menu for every budget. Have fun there and enjoy the show!!! Pros: Inexpensive, good service, friendly atmosphere Cons: limited parking more
