YMCA of Mid-Valley

I just wanted to give major props to Joseph at the Van Nuys YMCA on Lennox Ave. He is the consummate professional. He was so nice and patient with me on both the phone and in person. He really takes pride in his job. The YMCA is very fortunate to have hired such a dedicated young professional. If I had a business he would be my main guy……that is being if he accepted the position. I have lived in the San Fernando Valley all of my 40 years, and so many places have employees that just do not care much about their jobs…..and we the customers pay the ultimate price in the low quality customer service. Also, the lifeguards at the pool were wonderful too. Everybody is very nice, and the place has soooo many things to do for exercise. I am on a 7 day trial and very happy with what I see. The YMCA is much more then a gym or a song. This YMCA has the warmest indoor pool in the valley (85 degrees!), cheap, quality preschool (around $500 month, five full days, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks), health classes, water aerobics, 12 week fitness programs, 30 min workouts, family festivals, and a teriffic belly dance class. No matter how old you are you'll find something to do. more
