In 2005 I had my windows tinted by Xtreme Vehicle Design. I made a point of telling them that everything on my car should be legal whereas I am an ordained minister and didn't want to be breaking any laws. The company did a horrible job, and I had to return three different times to get the windows in the first two months I had the service done. The fourth time they did the job I was still not happy with it, but I was tired of arguing with them at that point. In 2007 I was pulled over in Kansas City, Missouri because my windows are illegal. Missouri has the same laws as Indiana. My recite tells me that the windows should be legal but after having them tested by a State Trooper, then another shop I know that is not the case. I called Xtreme back and they gave me no real answers for almost two months and when I finally told them I wanted something done they told me that if the recite says they are legal then that?s what they gave me... that that indeed not true. Upon calling the Noblesville police dept. I was told they have gotten a number of complaints about this issue over Xtreme. They not providing the service they are being paid for, they making vehicles illegal for road use, and they are not standing by their work or willing to take responsibility work. I only requested that they reimburse me for the fine I received because of their negligence and that they fix my car so that it would be street legal, which is what I paid them to do in the first place.
