Charise is my stylist! I have been going to Charise for years. When I statred going to Charise my hair was over processed and breaking off all the way to my scalp and she nursed ...

Lawrence also does a great mens haircut 2/2/2011

Since I've moved to the philadelphia .. I have been searching for THE ""barber"". After setteling for years on a average barber. I came across Lawrence. Thinking oh it was just a average cut. But, I was truly wrong. He shaped my hairline properly to frame my face, not a generic ""boxey"" hair line, it was truly tailored for me. It was like getting an Armani Suit tailored for you by gorgio himself. I highly reccomend him . And I refuse to allow anyone else cut my hair. more

Angela......The Best of the BEST 1/30/2011

I have been going to Angela for over 4 years and I am always pleased with my experience. She is always professional, pleasant, and on top of her game. When ever I need her she os there. She does a number of my family members and she knows exactly how we each like our hair.....and we are all different. Angela is good with not only styles but hair care as well. Angela is the kind of hair stylist that every female wants and needs in there lives...........I Rate Angela @ a PERFECT 10!!!!!!! more

Going to Xquisite Hair Design is like going to see family especially if you're getting styled by Angela! She is one of the best hair stylist that I've ever encountered! I Found The Stylist I Have Been Looking For! 1/26/2011

I found Sheena right here on Citysearch. I read her reviews and called her up and had my hair done the next day! Sheena gave me the best natural weave that I have ever had. I once paid $700 for a weave in a Las Vegas Hotel spa by some dude named Georgio who was suppose to be famous and the weave Sheena gave me is looks more natural and is undetectable! What can I say -- I have been looking for my signature style for 40+ years. I tried everything from A to Z. Lawrence gave me a cutting edge short ""do"" that matched my lifestyle (busy working mom) and me. I was beyond in love and rocked this look all summer. I started going to Xquisite a few years ago and came in as a walk in. I was tired of my past stylists unprofessionalism and I wanted to have my hair done by professionals. That day Lee did my hair and I told her of my past disappointments in stylists. She understood me and cared for my hair just like I would. I have been her client ever since. I never leave the salon disappointed and she continues to keep my hair healthy and keep me looking fabulous. I trust her completely and I recommend all my friends to her. Thank you Lee for the new color!! It has been amazing!!! All of the stylists are very talented but Lee is my favorite by far!!! more

Lovely Locs!! 12/20/2010

Deciding to go natural was a lot easier than finding a stylist who was willing and able to do natural hair. I tried for about a month to find someone who wouldn't tell me I needed a relaxer or have my hair pressed.\r \r I was fed up and about to give up until I found Neal and Xquisite Hair Design. I first went to Neal to have my hair braided. I showed up at the salon and to my delight Neal was waiting to greet me. He had a big smile on his face (which made me feel welcome) and we hit it off immediately! \r \r 10 months ago, with Neal's help, I started on my Loc journey. He started my locs and has maintained them ever since. My hair is healthy and beautiful. Neal is an incredible Loctician. He is kind, creative, and always gives me exactly what I want ( I can be a little picky) and I wouldn't trust my Locs to anyone else!! more

Sheena For An Incredible Natural Looking Weave 11/9/2010

Sheena has now done my weave three times and I have been totally satisfied each time! I have been going from salon to salon to salon since I moved to Philly from Atlanta 3 years ago. I was on a mission to find a stylist that can do a naturally looking weave. I am so thankful that I found Sheena right here on Citysearch after reading her many great reviews. (It seemes that all of the salons in Atlanta can do great natural weaves, whats the problem in Philly?) more

The FABULOUS TESSA 11/3/2010

I started going to Xquisite Hair Design about 2 years ago when I was in search of finding a new hair salon. The one I went to was great but her services were overpriced. So, I finally decided to try Xquisite one day just to see if I liked it. My first visit was great. I was sent to a random stylist in the salon but when I called to make my next appointment, they sent me to the stylist Tessa. I came in for my appointment, Tessa did my hair for the first time, and she has been my permanent stylist ever since. Tessa is amazing! She just doesn't style your hair, she observes it and recommends certain styles based on the condition of your hair. This is what makes a great stylist and she is IT! Tessa pays attention to the quality of your hair and is all about keeping the hair healthy. So, not only are you looking fabulous once when she is done, but your hair is also well-kept and maintained! Tessa is also great with styling weaves. You hear many stories of hair breakage due to weaves but Tessa takes her time with styling them so your hair is not touched and is growing in the process. Tessa has confidence in hair and if you want your hair to be well-maintained as well as stylish and fashion-forward, I would highly recommend that you go see TESSA!!!! more

TESSA is my FAVORITE!!!!!!! 11/2/2010

I started going to Xquisite about 2-3yrs ago and I wasn't sure which stylist I should go to then I ended up in Tessa's chair and Ive been going to her ever since!! She is AMAZING with weaves and my own hair! I do have long hair but I like to change it up from time to time and never know what to do with my hair but Tessa ALWAYS has something up her sleeve!! I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair when she does it and she makes it look so natural!! If you are looking for a versatile stylist..great with everything from weaves to hair cuts or just a regular blow and curl go see TESSA!!! She is the best!! :) more

I Love The Paul Mitchell Products! 10/11/2010

Like the post before me, I was upset when the salon started to do away with Aveda products. But I am really starting to think that I may like the Paul Mitchell Shampoos and Conditioners more. Lee does my hair and I love Lee so much I will always go to her no matter what products she uses but I hope they keep Paul Mitchell! more

Lawrence is my stylist. I've been going to him since 2008 faithfully ! He always has positive energy and always makes my visit fun. I also would like to salute all the other stylists, and staff there because all of you are fierce and very talented. Bless You Guys !! more

Miss You Tiif But Love My Hair! 8/30/2010

Tiff has been the only person to doing my hair for 7 years. I was nervous when I found out that Tiff is having another baby and may not come back. I want to thank Sheena for taking her time with me and really doing an excellent job on my weave! I trusted you but I was just so incredibly nervous having a different person work on me that I was like hyperventilating. Again, thanks for being so understanding. Good luck to Tiff! more

I read the many great reviews about Sheena so I called and gave her a try. Now I know why so many people recommend her, she did a great and quick job. I don't have any of those lumps and bumps that make it look like a weave. My hair looks and feels natural. Nice job Sheena, I'll be back1 more

Best Weave I Ever Had 7/27/2010

My cousin kept suggesting that I try sheena at Xquisite. After a bad experience with my previous stylist I made an appointment with Sheena, What a difference, Sheena did the job in half the amount of time and it looks and feels great. I hate buying hair cause i feel like I am always getting ripped off but Sheena told exactly what hair to buy and it worked out great. I would recommend Sheena to everyone and I am very picky! I am so happy that I found my stylist Sheena. I have been going to her for almost a year now. This woman has truly mastered the art of weave but at the same time she does a good job of keeping my natural hair underneath the weaves healthy. My hair has grown so much since going to her.
