Extremely Bad and Unprofessional 8/22/2011

Totally messed up the tint on my new car. Third grade poor service. If you have a cheap car that requires cheap tint - definitely go!! If you have an expensive car that you love and care...look elsewhere. These people should learn how to treat cars. The tint has dust particles, bubbles, haze all around but the owner can't see "" really small"" bubbles. The owner basically said - you really can't see bubbles unless you come really close, you're good to go...HAHAHAHA more

Tint for my truck with the best was $291, got it at All Out for $159 same tint but better price and they did a good job and was in and out in decent time. more

Great Work - My 4th Car 3/5/2010

Just had my 2010 Acura TL tinted and brawed! They do fantastic work, all seem to have a great time doing it, and don't mind entertaining their customers during the process. We found Xpert at the old Westheimer location in 2000 and have used them ever since. He might kill me for saying this but he re-tinted a window once after my car was broken into - at no charge. I think he felt bad because the window was so freeking expensive. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Ask for John or Sonny Oh, and the K40 installs are neat, clean and have served me well! Pros: Excellent, Friendly, Professional Work Cons: None known more

Top Notch Shop 3/21/2009

I needed to clear bra my new 09 GXP and did a search online. Came across the Xpert Tint as the place to go but heisitated after reading a review. Went to another shop and they didnt want to touch Clear bra process. They called the Llumar rep who said go no where else than to Sonny at Xpert! Called Sonny and he set me up for the next morning. Next morning Jon and Sonny set me up and started on my vehicle right away. Sonny even gave me a Marauder to drive for the day! Didnt miss my appointments plus the use of a muscle car! Cant beat that. Big thanks for the Sonny and Jon for their professionalism and help. My GXP looks fantastic and they worked all the details to make sure it was perfect. THANK YOU! If you are ever looking to do a clear bra on your car make sure you get a computer cut over freehand. Xpert did it right. Pros: Great work, flexible, treats customer great more

You should look elsewhere, lied about price to get me in the store 6/6/2008

Don't waste your time. This place plays typical tint shop games. I called for a quote on a specific vehicle and the owner told me it would cost $149. I asked which tint film that would be and he said Llumar. When I got there suddenly the $149 option was the no-name film which is 1 of 3 they offer. The next option was Suntek for fifty dollars more and the Llumar film was a hundred dollars more and they tried to pass off basic Llumar film as ultra-premium film. The owner said he might do the middle or low-end Llumar film for the lower cost (since I had low quotes from like 10 local Houston shops), but he said they didn't have any 30 or 20% even though a lady who was in there at the same time just got the 30%! He then tried to convince me that Llumar is awesome premium tint. Every shop I've used for my cars have Llumar and Johnson as standard decently priced film with lifetime warranty. I said forget it and got it done at 6060 Bellaire for the same original price and good 3M film, this other shop did an awesome job. Don't go here and don't trust tint shops when they try to sell you basic film as premium. Don't waste your time! 8/13/2007

Not at all impressed! I called ahead and got a price and time estimate to re-tint the back seat window. I was told 30min to 1hr wait time. I also asked if they were busy so I could come right over and not have to wait long. I got there and they got my car in the shop in a timely manner, but then I waited. And waited.... 1hr and 15min later I was told it would be another 15min. 45min later - I was still waiting. I was given a few excuses during this time. Finally over 2 hours and many other vehicles that I watched go in and out... my car done.. I paid for it and went out to the car and they didnt even do the right window! I let them know...and they did the right window, in 15 min. I was so upset that they kept jacking me around. It's not bad if they say it's going to be 1-2hrs, but don't say it's going to be 30min to 1hr and have it be more than 2 hrs and give excuses. Most of that time my car was sitting there and no one was working on it. I wasted my whole saturday morning! more

Xpert Tint 7/11/2007

When I bought my 2007 CLS550, I knew I wanted tint and a clear stone shield film on the front to protect against rock chips. Never been in Xpert Tint before, though I had driven by it 100 times coming up 59 at the beltway. I actually found them by looking on the manufactuer's web site for authorized installers. Once I got there I found out that these guys do most all of the high end cars in town and many dealers (BMW, Benz, etc) in town use them for tint and stone sheild on all their cars, marking up their cost of course. I figured if they were good enough to be the exclusive tint and stone guard installer for Ferrari of Houston, they could work on my piddly benz. These guys did exactly what I wanted and returned my car in great shape. They know their stuff and carry only the best product. Get the ceramic tint and the stone shield. more

Great Service and Prices 1/10/2007

I made the mistake of buying a piece of equipment for my car thinking that I could install it myself. I was wrong. I took it to them and they installed it really quickly and inexpensively. I definitely recommend them since they gave me such a fair deal and I hadn't even bought any of their products.\r \r I overheard the owner quoting someone on a tinting job and he said $80. That just seemed like a smoking deal.\r \r It looks a little bit run down, but that doesn't reflect the work that they do. Give them a shot. Pros: Price, service Cons: Scared me by quoting high, worst case scenario, actual price was MUCH lower more

I KNEW IT WAS EITHER LIGHT OR DARK...\r SUNNY HELPED ME WITH MY SELECTION...HE GAVE ME A VERY INFORMATIVE ""SCHOOLING"" EXPLAINING THE DIFFERENT TYPES ..WOW . I FOUND OUT THAT WINDOW TINT IS VERY COMPLEX,...THANKS TO SUNNY'S ,PARDON THE PUN,..GUIDING LIGHT ,I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH MY JOB.
