This place is beautiful. I am sure it is expensive to stay there, but it would be worth it. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The rooms are attractive and the food is very good. They sponsor different activities that are open to the public. My Dad and I went to "Mayberry Days" and it was wonderful. They had many activities geared towards Mayberry, including "Barney Fife". They even served food and had entertainment. All for no charge. When you drop in to see someone there, you do not find any surprises. It is nice all the time. I'd gladly spend my golden years there!
