Wycoff hospital is one of the worst hospitals ever! My mother has been getting very sick lately and unfortuanately the closest hospital to take her to is wycoff hospital. They are also located on Dekalb Ave. The ambulance never wants to take anyone anywhere but the closest hospital. Last month when my mom was in that hospital she arrived at 3 in the morning, did not put a braclet on her until the night time, did not even check her until about 5 hours later even though she had passed out earlier on, and is on a lot of medication. I could not believe this. My step dad complained and nothing was still done. After my mom was there for a few days, one nurse took out the wrong part of the Ivy, and the blod went eveywhere. The nurses are very unprofessional. No one wants to help. My mother even recalled someone in the night time over her going to inject her with some medicine and not even telling her anything. This is crazy. Soo much has happened with this hospital, then to find out that they did not even give her the rsults to some test. Last week she ended up in the same hospital because of the ambulance, my mother got there around 3:30. Stood there and not one person checked her. My stepdad asked the woman at the front desk if someone could check my mom, the only thing that they cared about was the insurance card. Then around 7 a woman told my stepdad that he had to go because visiting hours in the emergency room are over. My mother recalls a man walking over to her and asked why she was he and that he was the Dr. My mother explained and guess what he asked her again why are you really here? He did not beleive my mom. Then he said the whole time he was there in front of her but he did not help because he had a headache. This hospital should not be a hospital and they are just robbing people of their insurance.
