I have been going to Wornall Automotive for years and could not be happier! When you are extremely busy and work long hours like I do, having car issues can be your worst nightmare. Thankfully, Wornall Automotive makes these inevitable problems a whole lot easier to deal with. Every time I visit the shop, I'm greeted with a friendly smile and treated with respect. They always give me the honest facts about what my car does and doesn't need and, most importantly, I am confident that I can always trust Wornall Automotive to do an honest job for a very competitive price. Finding a shop you can trust can be so difficult. It is so nice to never worry about whether or not I am being taken advantage of. Scary... they gave my daughter an estimate of over $2000 to remove fuel contaminated with diesel fuel. Luckily as a mechanical engineer I recognized that they may have been attempting to scam me in my opinion. I paid a tow truck to pick the car up and take it to a reputable repair shop where they unscrewed the fuel tank drain plug and replaced the gas.... for a whopping $50. Yes...I paid more to this Wornall stinkhole for an estimate, and yes, they ripped me off by ransoming my vehicle for the estimate...and than I paid a reputable repair shop to actually complete the repair that I requested. And yes...I had my vehicle TOWE to a reputable shop from the wornall lot...Luckly as a fuel system engineer I immediately recognized that these guys need more training...despite what their "certificates" and awards might suggest to the uninformed. Stay away You'll thank me !! more

Wornall Automotive is probably the best shop I've ever received service from. The staff is wonderful - friendly, honest, and more than helpful! I've only gone in there twice for my car, but unless I'm doing the work myself, I will always choose to take my car to them. They replaced my fuel pump with a respectable price. They kept me updated while they were holding my car at the shop every day. The shuttle service is very appreciated! It was nice being able to drop my car off before work and then get a ride from the shop. My second trip was for my fuel gauge; it had stopped working. Thanks to the wonderful warranty from replacing the fuel pump, I was able to get that fixed up for free! :D Thank you so much, again! I will always choose this shop over any other in Kansas City. more

These guys were great, Ive been looking for a new repair facility and was recommended by my co-workers. They did a great job evaluating my car issues and found some other problems that they made me aware of but explained I didn't need to immediately address them. The work was ready when promised and as far as I can tell fixed right the first time. The entire staff was very professional and friendly. They've got my business for life and I recommend going and checking these guys out!! Great job done at a reasonable price!\r more

if thieves and liars were legitimate business people then they would all be working at wornall automotive.\r \r one or two fat slobs act like they are somehow in control, while a bunch of smoking, tatooed punks rip into your vehicle.\r \r oh, you'll need this test or that proceedure to check if you need that work, just leave your car here, we'll get to it.\r \r they make most of thier money off thier vehicle inspection racket.\r \r one of the fat slobs directed the punk smoking tatooed kid who was inspecting my car that the pitman arm needed to be replaced.\r \r what a joke, i took my car to my mechanic and he just shook his head - the pitman arm has no joints to go bad.\r \r so, instead of getting $1000 in repairs at wornall automotive, i'd save your money and shop elsewhere.\r \r this shop is a front for fraud and should be shut down. more

Did a great job and kept me informed about my vehicle. My car had some running problems for quite sometime. Had it at several shops that either fixed the wrong thing or couldn't tell me what was wrong. I was highly recommended by a friend to see these guys. Yes they told me up front about some of the tests they may have to run and gave me an idea of the cost for the testing assuming worst case scenerio. I'm sure it takes time to figure things out correctly!! I was amazed they were able to find the problem and repair it correctly the first time unlike all the other previous shops. They do a great job of giving you personal and friendly attention. The staff is personable and in my opinion very trust worthy. The issue got fixed for a lot less money than I was expecting to pay!! Don't know about these other reviews but I'll be recommending these guys to everyone!!! KUDOS!! more

My family is new to the area. We were highly recommended and we can see why. We got great service and the staff seemed highly experienced about our car troubles. We were also told about other issues that weren't related to out main problems. We were not pressured to do any other the other additional repairs. They just made some good recommendations. Not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for. We wanted the job done right with quality parts and a good warranty. We will recommend these guys to anyone from now on!! more

This is my one-stop for all my car problems and questions. I've been going here for several years and the staff has always been friendly and honest. They always get my car back to me when they say they will and there's never any pressure to get any additional services, just well-meaning and professional advice. I've been taking my cars here for almost ten years. They are always friendly, and always helpful. I trust them completely especially since I know nothing about cars. They are informative and thorough, which can be overwhelming, but they do it with the customer's best interests in mind. There is never any pressure for doing anything, just honest, up-to-date recomendations on what is priority. Highly recomend. I won't take my cars anywhere else. Pros: Friendly service, reliable work, honest, quick, efficient Cons: Price, but you get what you pay for more

They always give outstanding customer service and excellent work (completed correctly the first time). There staff is extremely knowledgable and courtious. They explain in detail what problems they find of my concerns and talk you through the pros and cons of doing the work or not. more
