I had a great experience at World Eyeglasses last week and thought their prices were reasonable. I've had difficulties with my contact lense vision (with multi-focals, mono-vision, etc.) in the past with other eye doctors due to a astigmatism but Dr. Enker was able to figure it very quickly. The office was very nice and comfortable and the staff was pleasant also. more

Got a really thorough eye exam 7/22/2015

Got a really thorough eye exam here from a fantasitc caring doctor - Dr. Enker. Afterward the staff helped me pick out cool glasses that were right for me (not pushy just helpful). An overall great expereince. more

Dr. Enker from World Eyeglasses does good work, at incredibly reasonable prices, and he does it as fast as you need it. A friend was quoted $600+ by one of the major major companies Dr Enker did it for under $200. I lose a pair a month so I buy five or six at a time, he makes that possible. more

I was looking for a way not to have to spend a fortune on glasses, and he provides. He is smart and to the point. Cost of exam and lenses are less than a third of what I spent with another optometrist...Can't beat this place! It's awesome! :) more

Everyone here is so knowledgeable. They had so much information about lenses - things I never knew! The selection is very nice - not all the glasses you see elsewhere, and the staff are really good at picking glasses that fit your face and style well. more

This optometrist is simply the best!I have been going to World Eyeglasses longer that I can remember and the staff and the doc are friendly and professional. It's so nice to have someone who treats you like a person and always asks if you have any questions or concerns during your visit. Whether you have an appointment, or are a walk-in, the prices are reasonable and he always strives to work within whatever budget you have. No matter if your looking for simple reading glasses, contacts, or latest in designer frames. You will not be disappointed! more

Great customer services 10/24/2013

Great customer services, great product and great prices plus a very friendly optometrist. I tried on some frames initially that were way too big for my face but he pointed me to some awesome frames that I fell in love with on the spot. I ended up purchasing a pair of glasses this afternoon that I originally had no intention of buying, largely due to the customer service I received. My husband and I definitely have a new eyewear store we will be frequenting in the future! more

great price 4/15/2013

I needed an eye exam and found dr. gary enker right near my job in Oakland park. There was also an offer of discount eyeglasses so I made an appt and the wait was not bad at all, maybe 10 to 15 mintues. The staff was great, they were on time and efficient. I gotta contact lens exam too. Them was able to look at their eyeglass shop and pick out a great pair of prescription glasses, an eyeglass frame for sunglasses and get new contact lenses at a great price! more

I won't go to anyone else for vision care. World Eyeglasses vision center is the best for inexpensive eye exam, contact lens exam, eyeglass frames, prescription eyeglasses. Found him on the intent searching reviews for an optometrist in Lauderdale by the sea and found some coupons for discounts too! Highly recommend Dr. Enker and staff and he made my contacts great. more

Unlike the big chains like Visionworks, Sears, 4 eyes, when you go to World eyeglasses you receive very caring service from Dr. Enker and his staff. I even got a follow-up call from them after I got my new glasses to see if everything was fine! How often does that happen? And, their pricing on eyeglasses and the eye exam are really competitive against the big guys as well and my contacts where actually cheaper than the chains more

I highly recommend World Eyeglasses for an eye exam and for eye ware. They have great prices on the vision exam and discount eye glasses. The staff is professional and friendly. Dr. Enker is thorough and up-to-date with the newest technology for eye exams. I got new contact lenses and a designer pair of glasses at a great price, not as bad as the last place. more
