If we could give him no stars we would! I dont even know where to begin with this guy and his company. First I would say RUN not walk away from him.Daniel entered a contract with us stating he would finish our basement from a concrete slab TO CODE in October of 09. We had a number of issues w/ the timeline of the finish & some items were left incomplete by the end, as well as him putting false names of contractors on the permits for the plumbing. I still have the paperwork & the guy that did the plumbing is NOT who is listed on the permit. He actually stood us up on coming back out to finish items but we let it go thinking we could finish the smaller items without a problem. W/ our busy schedules, time got away from us & we finally had someone from the inspections department to come and take a look at the basement and to our surprise things were NOT done to code. The electrical sockets were too far back in the wall(didnt pass inspection),2 light outlets were without caps(didnt pass), there were exposed wires in the storage area under the stairs(didnt pass), & one of the GFI outlets didnt work(didnt pass). We reached out to Daniel as soon as we got the news & asked that he come back & complete the work he was contracted for. He returned one phone call & said to show him the contract because he had to dig through his paperwork & didnt want to & that he would get back to us. We did & he never got back to us. Since then we have sent numerous emails about the work, etc & said that we would seek further action if he didnt get back with us. Since that time has passed A NEW ISSUE with his work has arisen. We had the hurricane & then flood waters in Alexandria that caused the easement to flood & seep into the window he created & therefore flood our basement. After seeking help from other contractors in the area, they informed us that he apparently NEVER put in a drain or completed it to code (foot bars for kids to climb out) or a bubble over it....causing the water no where to go but into our home causing now $6000.00 worth of damage because a $300 dollar cover and/or a drain that was to be installed to code WAS NOT.
