I was leery of martial arts when my daughter first expressed an interest, but her continued attraction won me over. We tried two other martial arts establishments and was about to give up when we heard about Lee?s World Taekwondo in St. Paul. From day one, both my daughter and I loved the supportive, friendly atmosphere modeled by the staff and fellow participants. We have greatly enjoyed the last 2+ years of training. My 4 boys (ages 4 to 12) and I all train in the martial arts. It has been fun and challenging for all of us. I love the fact that we can get exercise, fitness, self-defense and do it as a family. The last thing I needed was another activity where it cuts into family time - this one ensures that we get some regular time even on a crazy week. My son and I have been studying taekwondo together at Lee's World Taekwondo Academy in St. Paul for nearly seven years; we're both black belt students.
