World Gym

Warning: Do not listen to the people who are bashing this gym. They people that are there are great, the equipment is awesome in fact its getting upgraded again. All of the treadmills work great. The owner is an old fashioned Olympic lifter who has a lot of knowledge on mass building and strength building. The atmosphere is awesome the air also very clean all of the equipment is clean the weights are always racked and the costumer service is unbelievable. I have made several friends at this gym and I've been going since September. its 29 down and 10 a month. my entire family goes there and the members take care of the equipment as does the owners. I have been going to this gym for years. I read the reviews that date back and would like to correct some things. The heating/cooling system was rectified a couple years ago. more

The place is decent, building is large, and the membership is cheap (200 a year). They have about 10 brand new treadmills, step machines, free weights and other machines. Pros: Large building, all the machines you need, membership at a decent price. Cons: Not a new building more

The owner has gotten new televisions and thinks that they will take everyone's attention of the ridiculous heat and the terrible equipment. They want to follow suit with the other glamorous health clubs. This gym is far from glamorous. They try to save money by not turning on the air conditioning to make members suffer. You would think that the Board of Helth would step in and make them clean the place, or arrest them for cruel and unusual punishment. The gym is dark, dank, and delapetated. The price is cheap, cause there is only one person working there at a time, but they don't clean anything. They just watch adult movies at the front desk and don't even acknowledge you when you walk in. Great customer service atmosphere. I left after a week, cause it is a disaster. Talking to people there, they have nothing nice to say about the place. I wonder what the owner is thinking. Wrong choice in life, if you ask me. the equipment here is terrible. ancient artifacts. 3 treadmills actually work. no one cleans the gym. it is a big sweat box. more

great sauna, cause the whole place feels like a sauna when you are working out. air quality is terrible...3rd floor of an old factory. if you want to lose weight while working out...this is the place...you will sweat as soon as you walk in the door. a/c hasn't been on since I have been there. look elsewhere.
