Anyone who wrote a good review for this place obviously works there. This place is absolutely godawful. I took my wife and our three kids there for lunch. I ordered half of a muffaletta, She had a campagnola panini, my oldest son had a roast beef sandwich, and my daughter and youngest son split a shrimp dinner plate. We ordered to go.
I'll start with the muffaletta. After we left the ""deli"" and unwrapped it to eat it, I noticed that they had not put any olive salad on it - I wish I had kept it that way. After going all the way back to get my olive salad, upon eating my first bite of the WORST muffaletta I have EVER put in my mouth, I discovered the olive salad to be HORRIBLY SOUR. They also do not use provolone cheese, they use cotto salami, not genoa, and put regular ham. Even the bread was overcooked and too hard. DISGUSTING. not to mention it was $8.00 for the HALF MUFF.
I'll let my wife tell you about her campagnola panini: The chicken was flavorless and bland. The bread was so soggy it was falling apart, the toppings were falling through the bread. I still tried to eat it but the toppings were very bitter, and as I said the chicken had no flavor.
Onto the $12.95 'Shrimp dinner plate' - This thing was THE WORST. We open the box, and inside is a piece of french bread, smothered in butter and overcooked, a 'greek' salad which consisted of ONE artichoke heart, ONE kalamata olive (NOT DESEEDED!) and a shit-ton of lettuce all drenched in italian dressing -YUCK. There were exactly SEVEN, yes 7! breaded and fried MEDIUM size shrimp, and a bottom full of GREAT VALUE WAL- MART FRENCH FRIES. The shrimp were actually fried properly which was the ONLY positive thing you could say about this meal.
As for the roast beef, I couldn't say anything bad about it, It looked decent. So if you do happen to suffer the unfortune of going to this place, definitely stick to the roast beef, because EVERYTHING ELSE SUCKED ASS.
