Apparently, the WOW chain is one big scam. Google complaints, and you'll find a million from all over the country. I wish I had thought to do that BEFORE I signed up. I signed me and my husband up a little over a year ago, and I wanted to cancel my membership. Funny thing- you can't do it at their actual place of business although they sign you up there. Nope, you have to call a Boston number (not even a toll-free number at that). The first time I called, I waited a half-hour before I gave up. The second time I waited A FULL HOUR before I finally got someone. She was nice but I had to keep telling her to cancel me, she kept trying to talk me into staying. Then later I tried to cancel my husband's as he had changed jobs & was working so many hours he never could get to the gym. But, when I finally got through again, they told me I couldn't cancel his membership, that he would have to call- although I signed him up in the first place!! Long story short- RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! (BTW, I would give 0 stars except that this site doesn't allow it.)
