Worcester Academy has been the academy on the hill since 1834. Having such a lenghty background, both the teachers and students are very often products of school legacies, which in turn leads to a very tightly knit alumni body. Being in a closed campus, and with students often spending most of their social lives with their classmates, the student life is very soverign from outside communities, which is both good and bad. Of course the student body has the 'nerds' and hte 'jocks', but over all the students are friendly amicable persons.
