Woodside Kennels

I was looking for a kennel to board my goldens when I go on a cruise. I read the reviews, on the advice of friends, of one place, and I steered clear of that place. I went to another place that was recommended by a friend and I was not impressed. When I went to tour Woodside, I was very impressed. Had I not seen the pet theme throughout the office, and had I not heard all the boarded dogs barking, I would not have known this was a kennel. Everything was clean and well-organized. The owner even stopped my tour twice because a dog had taken care of his business and she immediately cleaned it. The only reason I gave this a 4-star rating is because I have yet to board my dogs there. I will had no trouble, other than hating to leave my dogs, with boarding them at Woodside. more

I have been going to them for over 20 years for my dogs. They are so patient and kind and they do a wonderful job grooming. I highly recommend them. Pros: They pay close attention to detail while grooming your pets and the staff is so friendly. Cons: Because they are so good in the Summer months they have to book you in advance because they are so busy. more

I had my reservations about leaving my dog with anyone however, Woodside Kennels came recommended by my vet. I was so pleased! On my first visit I was given a complete tour of the facilities. Everything was clean and inviting. I was allowed to take her back to the kennel she was to be in and walk her around, sort of get her used to things. It's entirely indoors and they are allowed ample running space. For a minor fee you can have your dog walked each day. They offer complete grooming services and their prices are very reasonable. The people are very friendly and reassuring. I would definitely reccommend this to anyone who truly feels their pets are one of the family.
