Woods Creek Kennels

We feel extremely fortunate to have found Jodi and Woods Creek Kennels. We recently moved to Seattle from Portland and needed a great place for our little princess, Samy, to stay while we left the country. Not knowing much about the doggie daycare/sitting scene in the Seattle area, we felt very nervous as we interviewed potential kennels for Samy to stay. Then, like a miracle from above, or the internet, Woods Creek Kennels came across our radar. Immediately after meeting Jodi we knew Woods Creek would be our new doggie sitter forever! Samy stayed with Jodi for 8 nights and we were able to view the pictures on her Facebook page and know that our little girl was having a great time. Normally when we Board Samy, she is upset with us upon our return and she doesn't seem to feel very well. After her stay with Jodi, she was happy and excited to see us and she had no tummy issues. This is our dog's Home Away From Home. Literally. When we go on vacation,often out of the country for 3 weeks at a time, Woods Creek is the only place we feel comfortable enough to leave our stinker. We have had excellent care from Jodi and Jessica both. They are friendly, trustworthy and willing to do anything to make your dog feel loved. We recently brought out dogs for evaluation and at first we thought they must have changed their pricing because the full day evaluation was no charge but evaluations are free at all times at Woods Creek, so this was a nice surprise. Jodi was also were very attentive to both the animals. She had us complete a lengthy profile on our dogs before we got there. The time it took to complete those was well worth it because she actually read it and used the info! Her evaluation report on each of our dogs was thorough and fun at the same time. Our little dog didn't even make it out of the driveway before he was fast asleep. Needless to say, we were sold on the place and gave her our reservations for the entire year. After our first stay at camp, I think they may have bathed them because they sure seemed clean when we picked them up. Believe it or not, it's a very grounded environment. You can tell the dogs are having a great time and they have lots of friends to socialize with, they're not locked up for hours on end like most kennels. Our dogs responded really well to Jodi and her family. Trying not to sound too hippie here but, they had good energy there. We'll keep you posted on how we continue to feel about them. After being gone for 10 days, and it being the first time away from my dog, I have to say I am more than relieved. The care Jodi gave Jerry Rice was above and beyond! The pictures posted on her website helped me get through the trip. And when I picked him up, they were all out in the yard playing, and he didn't even care that I was there!! He looked happy, healthy, and right now he is passed out and dog tired from his vacation at Woods Creek Kennels. \r Thank you so much, Jodi! more

Wow, what a top notch dog kennel!! I had other tours scheduled with 3 different kennels but after visiting Woods Creek Kennels I knew it was the place and canceled the other tours...two of them closer to where I Iive. The drive is well worth and my dog absolutely loves it there. The kennel is super clean and the dogs have a huge play area which they get to enjoy all day long. Jodi is super sweet and very helpful. She even met me in Monroe to pick up my dog when we had the big snow blizzard and my car couldn't make it up here road. Who does that??? You can't go wrong with WCK...it's my dog's home away from home :) more

I travel all the time for both work and pleasure and I used to have anxiety when leaving my 2 dogs behind before I found Woods Creek Kennels. From the minute I talked to Jodi on the phone I had a good feeling because she informed me before they could be boarded overnight they should come in for an evaluation to see how they socialize with the other dogs and I thought this was genius! Not only is it free daycare all day during the day but if a dog is nasty they do not invite him/her back, its almost like getting your pet into a private school! I also do not think that Woods Creek Kennels should be classified as a ""kennel"" as the dogs are in the yard playing all day and only kenneled at night to sleep and eat as opposed to other places that keep your dog locked up and charge you an extra $10 to take them out for an hour a day. If you love your pet and actually care about what they are doing while you are traveling then I highly suggest bringing them here because it is like sending them to CAMP!!!\r more

The first time I dropped my dog off at Woods Creek, I felt a bit weary, only because I have never trusted my dog with a complete stranger. Little did I know that I had nothing to worry about! While I was away for one week, I called everyday to get the status of my dog and Jodi said she was doing great. She also posts pictures on Wednesdays and Sundays for me to see who Sadie's new playmates were. Best of all, when I came back she looked vibrant and happy as ever! We will happily return! more

Last week I left a message regarding our upcoming reservation at Woods Creek Kennels. When you called back to confirm, Logan could hear your voice leaving the message. He recognized your voice because he ran over to the telephone and was wagging his tail and listening. When my husband came home we listened to your message again just to watch the dog! As soon as I pressed play and he could hear your voice, Logan ran into the kitchen wagging his tail again and circling the room. Thank you so much for providing a safe, fun and happy place for our pooch. Logan is so happy at Woods Creek Kennels and I never have to worry about his well-being. This is a clean very nice Kennel. Jodi truly cares about the animals and the owners. We had not been seperated from our dog for such a long time before. So it was difficult wondering where the best place to board here was. After a quick visit to Woods creek kennel we quickly decided that this was the place. Jodi posted pics on her website of our lab and always returned emails and any phone calls quickly. This gave us peace of mind so we could enjoy our vacation without stress. The pictures of the buildings and grounds are beautiful But they do not do this place justice. It looks better in person then in the pics. Highly recommend Jodi and wood creek kennels. Pros: Emails and callls back very quickly, keeps you informed Cons: Not one draw back more

Our Boxer, Zoe, is like a child to us. We care about her daily welfare and that she enjoys Woods Creek Kennels. Zoe has been attending the kennel?s day care for over a year. The owner, Jodi, is her second Mommy. Jodi cares for Zoe in many wonderful ways; the kennel is always clean and neat, the dogs have areas to play and to rest, the dogs are watched over, get snacks and watch movies. Sometimes we even get pictures of her antics with her doggie friends. We never worry or have a reason for concern for our Zoe. My husband and I found Jodi a few weeks after she had been open, and to our surprise what we had been looking for!! A happy, fun, beautiful place to take our dogs and know that they would be in such warm and kind hands! Woods Creek Kennels has been such a treat not only for our dogs, but for us as well, most of the daycare's that we have taken the pups too, the owners have never been as sweet as Jodi has been! Cooper, Sadie, and Bella get to come and play their little hearts out all day and we are both at work knowing that they are having the best time, and getting treated just as well as if they were at home. Our drive there in the morning's are filled with excitement and anticipation as they know that when they get in the back of the car, they are getting to go and hang with Jodi and the dogs all day!
