woodman's is a great store to shop, i know that if festivals runs out of my daughters pediasure that woodman's always has it. plus they have a lot more frozen stuff an a lot more ...

Woodman's food market 10/21/2006

The hubby and I thought we would hit Woodman's to check it out. We couldn't believe how low the prices were compared to our normal store. Savings galore and a huge selection. I do recommend getting there early, because the word is out on the mega savings they have there. We were finding prices that were half the price from what we are paying at our local store. The store is clean, but I could live without the brick looking floor, because your cart makes a lot of noise I like to think without that extra noise. We will return, but maybe without a cart. more

Pumpkins at Woodman's 10/4/2006

I remember someone saying how expensive pumpkins were this year.... I was just at Woodman's tonight and they had any 2 pumpkins for $5, I thought I would pass this along...this also could go to the deal page I suppose...the pumpkins looked really nice and I'm not sure how long this will last, but if you live in Appleton, WI you may want to take advantage of this pumpkin opportunity more

Large Store, Great Selection 4/17/2006

Woodman's has it all. Their grocery store is as big, if not bigger than a Super Wal-Mart. They carry almost ever brand of every grocery item. You can't go wrong when they have two double side aisles of cereal. Plus all the prices are great. Their prices are the same as the Super Wal-Mart. The only sections that I would like to see some improvement is their produce and meat department Both are quite small and don't have a lot of selection. In addition, I find that the prices in the meat department are very high. Another problem is that you will never know what is on sale unless you go to the store and walk up and down the aisles. They don't up out an ad at all and they don't take credit cards. more

Huge Selection 8/7/2005

Woodmans is one of the best cheap grocery stores. They are not like most grocery stores, such as Copps, they are employee owned which may have some impact on it. It seems that for every name brand product they sell, they sell twice as many off brands. They are very reasonably priced, and have many in store specials. There is even a nice size liquor store inside, but yet from, the grocery store. They have a huge health and beauty aids area inside also. They do not accept credit cards though, which is sometimes a hassel. more

big grocery store, ecellent selections of food 8/4/2005

woodman's is a great store to shop, i know that if festivals runs out of my daughters pediasure that woodman's always has it. plus they have a lot more frozen stuff an a lot more different fruits, vegetables an a great bakery and an awesome meat selection. this is also the store to shop at if your throwing any kind of party plus you don't need a key card to get their discounts. more

Large Store 8/2/2005

Woodmans is a large grocery store that is employee owned. The prices are good and you can find almost anything you are looking for there. They have a video store, liquor store, and grocery store all in one. There is always parking because the lot is so big too. They do not take credit cards though, so make sure you have cash. more
