I grew up on Woodlea Ave in Baltimore and my friends and I would hang out at the soda fountain in the old bakery.When I heard they opened a store in Bel Air it was a dream come true a real bakery has finally come to Harford County.You know the M&M saying they melt in your mouth not in your hand,well that is the way Woodleas products are.I wish them great sucess. more

Woodlea bakery is a fantastic little bakery in an otherwise unremarkable stretch of stores. It is a family-owned business and has been around for years. They have a variety of fresh baked goods daily, and the prices are very reasonable. My favorites are the chocolate chip cookies. Also, if you are looking to buy a cake, this is the place to go! more

Venture down Belar Road in the city and check out the Woodlea Bakery, but be prepared to wait because everyone else has that idea too. Keep in mind, street parking in this area is terrible, so you may have to walk. The peach cake and strawberry shortcakes are the best and may sell out. They also make great breats and rolls and of course wedding cakes!! more

homemade goodies, cheap 8/31/2005

Woodlea Bakery has what might be the best pastries in the world. My family always orders them for parties, and they're always gone before the party's over. I've never been in the bakery when it wasn't busy--but I take that as a good sign! Everything is delicious and well-priced. Parking, however, is terrible. But don't let that deter you, just be prepared to traverse the side streets looking for a spot! more
