Jaime Kirkland 3/12/2014\r My Pomeranian “Bear” acted like a holy terror the last 2 times I took him in to see my old veterinarian so I decided to find a new vet in case my old vet had scared or hurt him. I went to Woodland Veterinary Hospital and my problem was solved. We met Dr. Amor who handled Bear with great care during his examination – Bear really liked her! Bear has chronic ear infections so Dr. Amor recommended we do a deep ear cleaning under anesthesia and clean his teeth while we were at it because his gums did not look healthy in places and he had bad breath. She also gave him some apparently much-need antibiotics. That was two weeks ago and now it is like Bear has had a personality change – I can tell he feels so much better because he is much more playful and has stopped the “Mr. Grouchy” mood swings. I’m so glad I found my new vet. Two thumbs way up for Dr. Amor – very professional and super compassionate handling of my “former monster”.\r more

My 3 cats and I are very happy with the excellent services we get at Woodland Veterinary Hospital. We have been clients for about 4 years. Dr. Amor has pulled us through all kinds of situations from routine veterinary care to traumatic injuries. We have always been pleased with the service and results. My oldest cat named Tribble has developed diabetes and kidney trouble recently. I know Dr. Amor will give him the best of care and he will pull through this as well as can possibly be expected because I completely trust to the expertise of Dr. Amor and her wonderful and caring staff. I highly recommend Woodland Veterinary Hospital. more

I would like to respond to the fake review written by Kristie C. If you want real reviews about us check out the over 100 reviews from actual clients not from former employees who like to slander people and their business. It is clear that this cowardly person made up the entire review. We have a great reputation and countless of happy and satisfied clients. I will be taking legal action. more

i took my animals to this facility recently. there was a ""manager"" named David. The quotes they give you do not match what you really pay. I heard the vet and the coworkers talking about me and one of them called my dog a ""mutt"" and said they know how to ""handle"" animals like that. I think these people are money hungry, rude, and do not know how to run a business. this is not the first negative review i have read about their ""money"" issues either. they claim they see fleas on every animal so you will pay extra money for a flea treatment. Their boarding prices are reasonable however they charge for every little thing. The treatment my animals received was not exceptional and I was not impressed. Their building is very old on the inside. The staff looks miserable and the owner (the woman doctor) does seem to ""love"" animals but i heard her ""whispers"" in the back and her snotty remarks which is extremely unprofessional to be a Veterinarian. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. They offer no discount, they are rude, and they are money hungry jerks. ENOUGH SAID. more

The staff is awesome! They made accommodations when traffic kept me from making my appointment on time. And my dog seems to be a lot more comfortable than at other vets; there is a lot less pacing. more

Dr. Amor and all the staff that we have interacted with at Woodland Veterinary have been wonderful! They are all professional and helpful. What is most important to us is that Dr. Amor is one of those rare doctors that takes the time to understand and diagnose the problem, so you can get it resolved. She has helped all of our animals with various issues and we really trust her. She is an excellent Dr and we would recommend her. Thank you for the outstanding service that we receive on a consistent basis. more

We have been coming here since 2003 with our two rescue dogs. One of our dogs eventually had to be put to sleep due to kidney disease and Dr. Amor was the most caring, wonderful doctor to go through that process with. Dr. Price is just as caring with our old girl who needs special care. more

I drive by this practice and selected it for the convenient location. When you arrive for an appointment you are known by name and appointments are usually on time. I also like the caring attitude. Overall I am delighted! I would tell them the staff always greets you by name and your animals name, and that I always know what is happening with my animal in terms I can understand. I have already recommended others here. more

I was referred to this practice from a friend, and the location is very convenient. I was so impressed with Dr. Price's knowledgeable and practical evaluation and treatment recommendation, Savannah's MIRACULOUS grooming (still don't know how she did it), and the entire staff's friendly and helpful way and genuine concern for the animals. I really felt like everybody went out of their way for me and my dog, from the moment I called for an appointment. OveralI am delighted! It is obvious that everyone at Woodland Vet is very talented at their work; probably because they truly care about the animals. I highly recommend them to my friends. more

We have had a problem with our cat Cookie going to the bathroom in our house. Dr Amor diagnosed him with a Urinary Tract infection. I tried to get Cookie to take the pills but I was not successful. Cookie was a ferrel cat that we found in our front yard and we adopted him. He is very afraid of people so Dr Amor took time out of her busy schedule to come to our home to give cookie an anti biotic shot. Dr Amor took the time to ask all about Cookie and to understand his habits and fears. She knew that Cookie was afraid to go out so she recommended a plan to slowly let him get acclimated to the outside world. Two months later and Cookie's disposition and demeanor has changed completely. He loves to go out and sometimes he stays out all night. He comes home tired and do happy! He is always purring and best of all we have not had any accidents in our home! Cookie now goes to the bathroom outside. I would like to thank Dr. Amor for taking the time to help figure this out for us. She is truly a wonderful doctor who cares for her animals! Thank you! more

Can I rate this place a zero? This is the most cold and heartless veterinary hospital I have ever encountered. My dog was hit by a car. They took xrays and must have seen that her heart was damaged and lungs bruised but they still gave her so much morphine that it almost killed her by suppressing her heart and lungs even more. Thank goodness we got her out of there before they did anything else to her and to a reputable hospital that is taking excellent care of her. They also refused to let me see her until I paid the bill. They neglected to send over her info to the new hospital after the vet and a vet tech called and requested it and I personally showed up to make sure they ""emailed"" it as this is the only way they can send xrays. This is the ghetto motel run by heartless employees contracted by the state to treat animals from the SPCA. They could care less about your animal. They make their money off the state. more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! 10/23/2008

They gave me an estimate for the services to be done to my dog, which they completely disregarded. They added several unnecessary additional charges without notifying me...racking up the bill to well over double the quoted price. When I refused to pay for the excess charges they withheld my dog from me. They were extremely unprofessional, speaking to me as if I was ignorant and showing absolutely no sympathy for the fact that I simply wanted my dog. Not once did they attempt to apologize or accept any responsibility for the problem which a quick phone call informing of the charges could have prevented. Even after I gave in and handed her my credit card she just stood there lecturing and belittling me and wouldn't run my card or allow her receptionist to until she had finished her rant. Pros: N/A Cons: Rude, terrible service more
