Great Site for Frisbee! 4/13/2006

I got into Frisbee Golfing about a year ago, and this is one of the best courses in the area. My wife even enjoys this one with me. There are a variety of holes here, and the surrounding park is great. There is a water park for kids, various miles of hiking trails, and it is all very well taken care of. There is a charge to come here - which definitely is worth it! You can get a 1-day pass for $1 or a yearlong pass for $5. If you enjoy frisbee, definitely check this place out. more

Woodland Mound Water Area 8/19/2005

My kids love to go to Woodland Mounds for their water play area. The play area is monitored by 'lifeguards'. It has 'animals' to shoot water. The water area has a section for toddlers, to keep them from getting knocked over by other children. There is a concession stand for food, although the eating area is limited. Outside the water area is 2 tier park, that the kids love. This is great to play on as you wait for the water area to open. This park also offers many areas to picnic as well as a frisbee golf course. There is a fee to enter the park, it is best to pay for a yearly pass if you plan on returning or if you plan on visiting other Hamilton County parks. more

Woodland mound park has a bunch to offer. Woodland has miles of fitness trails, softball fields, frisbee golf to just name a few. The frisbee golf course is very challenging compared to others that I have been to. Woodland offers many covered picnic areas with charcoal grills. There are also plenty of playgrounds for the little ones. Oh and did I forget to mention that Woodland has an amazing view of the Ohio River. I love this park. Just remember to take a couple of bucks with you to pay for a single entrance or to buy a pass for the park system. A pass is really worth it and helps pay to maintain the parks. more
