Woodland Country Apartments

Thank you to Woodland for five wonderful years. It's a beautiful place and there is nothing like it. Living there is like being in your own private environment, even though the supermarket is two miles away and Kingston is ten minutes down the road. My apartment was charming, clean, bright and everything was modern. I had a washer and dryer in the place and a beautiful deck looking out to the woods. The manager and maintenance staff were very nice, personable, and took care of things right away. I am sorry I had to relocate, and hope I find another place like this where I am moving. more

When I moved to Ulster county not wanting a private home, I thought I would have to settle for an asphalt jungle with views of cars and parking lots. What a pleasant surprize when I found Woodland. Woodland as the name suggests is about trees, gardens and forest. I believe there is over 40 acres; almost an acre per apartment. I found a delightful two bedroom unit complete with fresh new carpet, sparkling appliances, a laundry room and central air conditioning. I particularly love to go out on my deck with my morning coffee, listen to the birds chirp and watch squirrells play. Oh and about the rent, before finding my cozy apartment, I saw plenty of run down tired places that charged much more money. The apartments are two minutes from the heart of town, with a fresh farm garden market , shopping center, and fabulous dining within the neighborhood. What a find!! Pros: Privacy, attentive staff, convenient rural setting. Cons: They don't allow pooches, just cats. more
