I wear eyeglasses and contacts and I got a great value on my eye exam while shopping a my favorite store, Costco! Dr. Hirano had an opening for a walk-in appointment. This practice bills some major insurances so check ahead. I thought the exam was very thorough and I like that the doctor checked the health of my eyes. I am sending my husband and son soon as well. more

They are not cheap because they are at Costco. They charge a 15 dollar fitting fee over and above the contact exam that your insurance will NOT pay for. Other places do not do this. more

I was shopping at Costco this past week and noticed they have an Optometrist's office there. How convenient! Dr. Kevin Hirano's private practice, located inside the Woodinville Costco, is very nicely furnished, clean and professional. The staff was really pleasant and answered all my questions. Dr. Hirano is so knowledgeable. He got me into contacts for the first time and I am loving the freedom! I brought back my wife and two young children for eye exams later that week. I have been a Costco shopper for a long time and love to shop there. I didn't realize until recently that they have licensed, independent Optometrists in Costcos. I was shopping at my new, local Costco in Woodinville and decided to 'try out' having my eye exam at Dr. Hirano's practice. What a great deal and what a great eye doctor! Dr. Hirano is really professional minded and knowledgeable. He's also SO nice! I wear spectacles and never thought that I could venture into the world of contact lenses. I got a prescription for eyeglasses AND new contacts for a great price. Dr. Hirano also trained me so I can put in and take out and take care of my contacts with ease. I am loving the fact that I can wear either contacts or glasses depending on what I am doing that day. The staff there are very nice and thorough. The office is very pretty too I must say. I wholeheartedly recommend going to see Dr. Hirano at Woodinville Family Eyecare in the Woodinville Costco. It's a great experience. You will want to bring the rest of your family in too like I did. more

I have an astigmatism and thought I could never be fit for contact lenses. I have had bad experiences in the past with eye docs too. Not now that I went to Woodinville Family Eyecare! Dr. Hirano is so knowledgeable! He fit me with lenses and they feel wonderful. I am seeing better than ever. His staff was so friendly, the office is really pretty too. Dr. Hirano is a great Optometrist. He's professional, thorough, kind and takes time with each patient. His office, located inside the Woodinville Costco, is really high tech looking, professional yet comfortable. This is a great family eye care practice. Highly recommended for anyone in Woodinville, Mill Creek, Bothell, Monroe, Snohomish or anywhere on the Eastside of Seattle! Worth the drive if you live out of the area. Great prices too!! more
